Don't listen to Sauda

I am not a wuss (I'm not sure what that is, but I think it's an insult so I know I'm NOT ONE) and I am not dumb. I am simply a young lady with a sensitive disposition...so THERE!

Anyway, hello world. This is my first diary entry. I'm still not so good on the 'puter yet, so forgive me if I make mistakes. My paws are still pretty small.

Me and my brother, Sirius, who is actually a littermate, are fairly new to Catster -- but our fur family have all been here quite a while. I don't know how good I'll be at keeping a diary, because there's still so much world to explore! but I'll try to do it now and then.

Some of my kitty fam didn't care too much for us when we first came home with mom, but it's getting a lot better. Even China doesn't swat at me nearly as often as she once did, and she's the hardest case of the lot. I don't know that we'll ever be friends, exactly, but one night recently she actually let me climb up near her on the tea cart and snooze.

My favorite is Winson. He's my "mom" -- when I first came to live here, I missed my catmom SO bad! Win let me snuggle with him, and he bathed me and loved me and even let me pretend to nurse him. How many boy cats would do that? I still try to sometimes. Look at the picture of me laying on his hip. Isn't that sweet? He's the best cat ever, next to my real catmom (though it's getting harder and harder for me to clearly remember her face).

I've made lots of friends here. My favorite is my paw pal, Louis LeBeau. He's a very handsome fellow and he tells me wonderful stories of his adventures OUTSIDE! I don't get to go outside, my human bean says I'm too little, so when he tells me about butterflies and frogs, my mom has to look up pictures on the 'puter and show me what that looks like. I think I'd like the outside, but mom says it's very dangerous. There are mean barkers, and mean people, too -- and diseases kitties can get that make them sick and make them have to go to Rainbow Bridge too early.

I think I'll just stay inside with Sirius, nap on mom's bed while she's at her working place and on her lap when she's home. Life is good.
