Sleeping, eating, playing with Selma, and occasionally picking on Phoebe, when he has enough energy left. He also likes having a bath.
When you stop petting him. He will reach over and start tapping you, or even flick your lip.
Selma. He just discovered a catnip sock a couple days ago, and he thinks it's pretty fun to sniff and chew on.
Favorite Nap Spot:
The loveseat, on the back of the couch, his cat bed on the floor, or stretched out on the carpet in a ray of warm sunshine.
Glen's on a Prescription diet for kidney problems. He likes the canned version better, but enjoys both. He loves his salmon treats that he gets each night after his medication (1 pill).
Lip-flicking, and forehead washing (ouch!). He also likes to groom his people's hair. Oh, and sleeping through anything. *Crash-Bang-Boom* Still sleeping!
He ended up at the local pound as a stray. His days were up, and the SPCA didn't want to take him in because he was old (rolls eyes). I didn't want him to be put-to-sleep, as he was such a nice old guy, and he simply deserved to live out the rest of his years. I asked my husband if we could provide him with a retirement home, and voila!
Glenny is pretty old, hearing impaired, and walks rather stiff-like, but he's still a cool cat. Despite his few set-backs, be still finds the energy to play at times. He has this very annoying habit of howling at night. It's such a deep eerie sound. Thankfully he doesn't do it too often! Something cute about him is, he always crosses his arms when laying down. He looks like such a proper little gentleman.

I see that I'm famous today! Catster HQ emailed Mom at 1am this morning to say my page was chosen as one of todays picks for the Daily Cat Diary. How exciting is that?! It isn't a very happy entry, but hey, it's about me, so that's what's important. Thank you Catster! Mom loves this site (and the dog one too).

Today is a day with many tears and much sadness for my family, and I know it won't end there. You see, I passed away this afternoon, and went to join my brother Bogart at the Rainbow Bridge. The upside is, my body no longer aches from arthritis, my thyroid and kidneys work again, and possibly the best of all... my eyesight is back! It was terribly scary when I suddenly went blind recently. I would bump into things if I tried to wander my home, but my family helped me out a lot, and made things really easy to find. Mainly my food and water dishes, and my favorite bed.
They say I lived a long life. Possibly 18 years or so. Luckily my life was extended about 3 and a half years ago when my family adopted me from the pound. My days were up and I was going to be put-to-sleep because the SPCA didn't want me due to my age. Well I showed them! I lived an indoor cats dream for my remaining senior years. My very own leather couches to sleep on (no one told me different, so I say they were mine), great food to eat, and a family that loved and cared for me. They tried to keep my health issues under control with visits to the Vet, medication for my thyroid, and a prescription diet for my kidneys, but I guess my body finally said 'enough is enough', when Hypertension joined in and caused me to go blind.
My sister Selma couldn't figure out why I didn't want to play anymore. After I lost my eyesight, it was too scary to have a play scuffle like we always did. They were fun while I could play though. I hope she has fun with Phoebe. Selma, you were my favorite. And Greta - I'll miss cleaning your ears.
To my family: I'll miss washing your foreheads with my sandpaper tongue, and tapping you for attention when one of you would stop petting me. Thank you for giving me these extra years.
Try not to worry, I'll be having fun chasing butterflies and bug-hunting, with Bogart in his buttercup field.
I'll miss you Glennykins.
