On his cat pillow, on a beanbag chair, on the couch, curled up with another cat or person

He was the only cat I ever had that actually responded and listened when you called his name or snapped your fingers. If he heard his nam being called, he would come running from wherever he was.

indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
In the fall of 1995 we found a cat with 3 kittens in our yard. One of the kittens was a gray tabby and looked just like the mother. The other 2 were black and white. Shortly after finding them a big black and white tom cat started coming around. We knew just by looking at him that he was the kittens "Papa" We fed him for a few years outside, and eventually made his way into our home.

Bio:
Papa truly was the sweetest cat I ever had. His nickname was "Beast", but he was anything but. I always called him my kindly old gentleman. We don't know old he actually was, so his sudden and unexpected death may have been caused by a heart attack or just old age. He passed away April 21 2005, but not before jumping on the couch and sitting with me for a while that morning. He was very special to me and always will be. I will always miss his loud content purrs, his big "toothbrush" or "walrus" whiskers and his furry butt in my face every morning.
