Arrival Story:
In November 1992, at the age of about 8 weeks, Toby was found by a brother of a friend; apparently he and his sister had been dumped in a ditch in a rural area. They split up and his sister ended up at my friend's house, and Toby ended up at my friend's brother's house down the road. The sister was injured and died, but Toby hid under the deck of the house for a few days. He was eventually caught and brought to me. Even though he was sick with worms and earmites and had obviously been emaciated before finding his way under the deck where he was fed, when we first met he purred and purred and purred very loudly. I immediately took him to the vet, and as he got better he became much more frisky and playful.

Bio:
On the morning of December 28, 2007, while sleeping with his mama and cat family, Toby passed away peacefully after a short battle with CRF. No cat has ever been a better companion, and he will be sorely missed.
