Birthday: October 10th 2003 Likes: Being brushed; being held for the first few minutes of every morning; going outside into the tall grass in the pasture next door Pet-Peeves: Not being allowed outside; dirty litterboxes; too much company Favorite Toy: bags of any type; cotton swabs; laser pointer; coiled twist-ties; mice; any string toy; grocery bags, especially big brown paper ones Favorite Nap Spot: On top any pile of clean laundry; in any open suitcase; behind the pillow on the guest bed Favorite Food: Attacat, butter Skills: Lulu can irritate her brother Seymour until his tail twitches. She steals his napping spots if he leaves them warm. Lulu also rings the string of bells on the back door until you let her out. Dwells:
indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: I went to the Humane Society of the Palouse (Moscow, Idaho) looking for a gold & black calico. They had almost 20 to choose from, but when I saw this beautiful 'muted calico' (tan, gray & cream) I knew she was the one. She was very gentle without letting her 2 littermates get ahead of her. She has the softest long fur & loves being held. Bio: When Lulu came home, we knew it was up to her to convince Seymour that she could stay. Seymour is older & had been Top
Cat for almost 3 years. He's a 'fraidy cat, though & hissed at the kitten every time she even looked at him. She played dash-and-hiss with Seymour (she dashed up to him & he hissed so she dashed away) until he stopped the hissing part & started playing with her for real. They are now great friends, except when Lulu steals Seymour's favorite napping place.
Lulu knows whenever a mouse has gotten in under the kitchen sink & sits on duty staring at the cupboard until we open it to let her hunt. She wants to spend more and more of her time outside. I'm thinking she would rather live out in our barn. Lives Remaining: 9 of 9 I've Been On Catster Since:
