Arrival Story:
Gimpie was a neighborhood stray who we started feeding in late 2010 or early 2011. When we first began feeding him he would hiss at us and follow it with a sweet meow, as if he was saying, "I'm fierce! But, I'm hungry." As time went on we gained Gimpie's trust and love. He was so very loyal and devoted. In October 2012 we finally were able to bring him inside. After a period of adjustment, he acclimated quite well to indoor living and got along with our other four cats. Gimpie absolutely loved toys - especially an old shoestring. He fast became a biscuit-making lap cat. He trilled at his toys and made a darling noise when he stretched. He was such a good, sweet and awesome kitty. On June 5, 2013, we lost Gimpie to sudden death. Totally heartbreaking. He was only estimated to be about 3 years old and seemed to be in good health. We miss him terribly.
