Twice Mommy took my poopie samples to the vet to check for worms and both times, they turned out negative. Mommy told the vet she found evidence of tapeworm on my britches. He said it was true that tapeworms don't show up on the slide when the samples are tested.
The vet gave Mommy a pill that would get rid of the tapeworm. She put the pill in a pill pocket dipped in salmon juice from my breakfast, she opened my mouth, put in the pill and it went down. Of course, this is the first pill I had ever taken and I'm not too fond of it. I hope I don't end up having to take pills all the time like Sampy.
Anyway, I'm glad that old worm is a gonner!
As to Sampy, he really likes me! I licks my head and ears all the time! I kind of like it!
Well, I'm going to turn in now as it's my bedtime.
Purrs & Breeps,

Hi Joss! Hope you're feeling better soon! We're purring for your family that you guys don't have any more troubles!
My late sisfur Colleen had a tapeworm. You are lucky though. For tapeworms, it is just a one time pill. Luckily, I've been able to escape parasites.
How cool that you had a big worm! I'm glad it is gone now. We used to have that worm too - it looks like rice on your butt!
