Arrival Story:
We lost Buster, and I was really upset. I told my husband that I didn't want another kitten. I was still too upset. So, when I came home from work, there was a note on the counter that said that I had a new little friend in the back room. I went in there, and this little orange kitten came out of my closet crying. He came right to me. At first I wished he wasn't there, because of my loss. But, he grew on me in 30 minutes!

Bio:
This little devil is a big trouble maker. He has peed on stuff, like the dogs bed, because he didn't get his way. He's a big pain in the butt sometimes, but other times he's as sweet as could be. He sleeps in the bed during my nap time, and rubs against me and the dogs when I come home from work. He has befriended our newest addition, Joey. He runs for treats and loves to be rubbed. He loves to play, climb, run and jump. He 's my sweet little guy. And I would never trade him! Sadly, Bankey left us in November 2009. I have no idea why he died, it was quite sudden. At least he was in his own yard, which is his favorite place. I don't think he was poisoned because he never appeared to be sick at all. If he was, it was some fast acting stuff. I've had a cat who went through kidney failure and the whole deal, due to consuming toxins (by the same neighbors who beat and kicked the crap out of Mel, but had sense enough to give him to me). I don't think they did it on purpose, but they were draining their yard into the street. So stupid! That is a horrible thing to go through with your animal, because you are totally helpless. He was even at the vet's office recently for his vaccines. I'll never understand what happened and shouldn't even try. It's just too heartbreaking. He went the way you'd always hope, but it's still a shock at such a young age.
