I was a birthday boy!

I'm one year old now! It's been a fun year. Recently I had conjunctivitis brought on by feline herpes. Don't worry though, it's genetic and brought on by stress. I'm not sure why I'm stressed but that's what the vet said. I got a new mouse toy and played with it all day. I also played with a twisty-tie, that was more fun, to be honest. I weigh 11 pounds now and am bigger than brother Phoenix. I found a spot to hide in the closest behind the laundry basket. Mommies thought that I was missing again, but really I just wanted a nap. I normally sleep in the laundry, but mommies take me out of it and say that the clothes are dirty. I like them though because they smell like my mommies. I'm having cuddles now on the couch. I always knew I was the favorite.

Life is great

All of my life I have been in cages with other animals like me. Now these last 2 days I have had 2 rooms to explore and plenty of toys. This is the life! I have used the litter box every time that I had to go potty so the humans are happy too. Yesterday I really scared mommy because I found a teenie tiny crawl space underneath the kitchen cupboard. Mommy was crying because she couldn't find me and they only had me for 1 day. She put cardboard and tape over my fun spot :( I love playing and napping with mommies on the superman blankie!
