On Sunday morning my mum was putting food in boxes and bags and she said she was making a picnic as she was off to a Country Music Festival.
I didn't know what a picnic was so I asked and she said it is when you pack up delicious food and go somewhere outdoors to eat it.
This struck me as funny for two reasons. One was that I have enough trouble keeping Dylan off my food indoors so surely everyone takes your food if you try and eat it outdoors. The second was that it looked like it was going to rain.
Mum said that actually everyone takes their food, spreads it out and they share.
I didn't know what "share" was so I asked and she said that's when you happily let people take some of what's yours and they do the same. She said it's like Josie and mum and I share the flat. We do - but I'm the Boss! She said I could try sharing her with Josie so when I see Josie and mum having some special time to leave Josie be and know that I'll get my special time later.
I don't think much of sharing at all!!
Then mum went away and she was gone all day and it did rain. It rained a lot and I was glad to be indoors.
Mum came back and said it was a British summer day as she had sunburn but more than once she and her friends were huddled in a tarpaulin sheet keeping dry but they had good fun and the music was great and they did dance.
I still don't think I would have liked it!
It was dry by evening and it is lovely this morning so I've been enjoying the garden.

Missed your meows while the catster was being moved to anew server. There is another way to look at this sharing thing. Gp up to your mum and ask her to share her food with you. But the good part is that you don't have to do it back as humans don't like cat food.
Toby, I don't like sharing either. Especially Mom. It's my Mom. I was here first and I don't like to share her with other cats.
I tried to have a picnic a whle ago. I brouhgt home a mouse to eat outside but Mom took it away from me. I guess she wanted it for her picnic.
