Conclusion

Surprisingly, there are tons of good hotels to stay in in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. While there is only so much room snuggled in the mountains, many hotels in the area do allow both cats and dogs. However, finding somewhere for larger dogs to stay can be a challenge. Plus, pet fees can be very expensive, with some hotels charging as much as $100.

We highly recommend calling ahead and ensuring that the hotel you choose has a pet-friendly room available. Most only allow dogs in certain rooms, so it’s important that one of these rooms is available when you check in.
