Just an update for all my friends with where dadcat is after his stroke on 8/17.
He is doing well, went to Physical Therapy once, and they released him. So physically he is doing well (of course...Spice and I are working hard at taking care of him!)
He will take speech therapy for a long time, but we do expect him to get back to talking like a normal human again at some point.
Thanks to all for the purrs and thoughts...we appreciate that. We love our dadcat so much and so glad he is still here with us and recovering well.
Physical therapy will work wonders for him dear Phantom. Encourage him to go even when he thinks he doesn't need it.
We will continue our purrs and prayers for your DadCat to continue to get better and better, you and Spice are being so good in helping with your Dad...family and TLC do wonders for all...
Good news, Phantom. We continue to purr for your DadCat!
We're purring up a storm for your dadcat. I sure hope his speech gets better soon.
Love Rex and family

I am so glad your dadcat is doing well. Molly and I are keeping him dusted with healing dust :) We hope his speech therapy goes well.Sometimes folks have an easier time singing then talking. So you can ask him to sing to you.
