It's been awhile since I have wriiten in my journal. I have been bonding with my owner, enjoying lots of cat naps and play time, and quite frankly, I've been a lazy kitty! Today is another snow day and I decided to sleep in. I have been lounging in bed since after breakfast all warm and cozy. My owner, Tara, is home with me today which makes me very happy. She can be lazy like me, so we both have been lounging in bed! I love to snuggle up in her lap and relax. After dinner, we always play together, so I am looking forward to that! I love to play with my string toy and my feather wand haha!!! Well I hope all my fellow cats are as happy as I am, I am going back to sleep now yawn....

A Big Change - 07/2010

I can remember the day when my new mom came to pick me up. It was in the summer because it was very hot and my long coat of fur was becoming a little uncomfortable. I used to like sleeping in the tub to keep cool. Anyway, it was early evening when a woman with long dark hair came over to visit. She kinda looked liked my owner. She was very nice saying how beautiful I was, and she kept trying to pet me. I liked her but I had no idea that I was going home with her! In no time I was in my tiny cat carrier and my owner packed up my belongings. It was a long car ride, when I finally arrived at my new home I couldn't wait to get out and explore my new surroundings. It was a rough first night. I really missed my previous owner. I was so disoriented that I kept meowing hoping she would come and get me. Maybe this was a little vacation? Well as the days went on I realized that this was my new home and my new family. I slowly adjusted to my new environment. My new mom is named Tara, and she loves me so much. She always keeps my litter clean, and my belly well fed. I love to sit on her lap and purrrrr. We play together every day and have lots of snuggle time. This is a good change. :)
