Jessie loves the screen porch, and spends lots of time out there

Jessie does not like her belly rubbed and she will be sure to tell you if you try

Favorite Toy:
Jessie has a Vet Doll that she carries around, it is very dirty and tattered, but she loves it

Favorite Nap Spot:
Jessie loves to sleep under the stairs on the porch, if she is missing it is always a good bet she is under the stairs.

Favorite Food:
she will eat anything, no favorites for my gal.

Jessie yodels with her doll in her mouth. She used to do back flips when she was younger.

Arrival Story:
Jessie's Mom was a barn cat. One day she was hit by a car and died. The owner of the farm knew there were young kitties in the barn and searched for days before she found the pile of little kitties. Unfortunately all were dead but a little dark gray one. The owner of the farm asked me if I could take care of this poor ill little creature and of course the answer way yes. The little gray kitty was very sick and very weak, but happily drank some from the tiny bottle we offered her. The next morning we packed her off to the Vet and he was amazed at how determined she was. So with tons of medicines and lots of love, she started to get stronger. When I was not worried she might die any second, I gave the little gray kitty a bath and discovered the prettiest calico I have ever seen under all that dirt. A neighbor named her Jessie, and she has been with us ever since. She is a diva and very vocal. But now Jessie is getting on in years and only squeaks now instead of meowing, but we love her anyway.

Jessie left us on a sunny day in August, 2012. The house was so quiet after she journied to the Rainbow Bridge, gonna miss that gal. She was fiesty right up to the end. The morning of her death, she crawled into the fridge while I tried to fix breakfast, later that afternoon she started breathing funny, so I picked her up to give her some cuddles, and she died in my arms.
