Arrival Story:
Oscar was found wandering around my mobile home and looked hungry.My family and I had set out a bowl of food for him,which took him seconds to finish.We hadn't seen him before,so we didn't know if he was going to bite us if got too close to him,but everyday we would put bowls of food and water for him.We decided to see if he would let us pick him up and hold him,but eventually he allowed us to.As the weather down in Florida was turning colder at night,he had no shelter,except for the warmth of our porch rug.He would wander to the neighbors yard and crawl up under her bushes that were covered with heavy blankets.On a particular very cold Saturday morning,I found him curled up into a ball.Well my heart was breaking as I couldn't stand to see this beautiful guy freeze to death,so I went out side and scooped him up in my arms and brought him inside.It took him a couple of weeks to know that he was now with people who loved him unconditionally.His former just moved and threw him out like he was garbage.
