The neighbors' crying babies. Also, when he notices papa giving momma more attention.

Favorite Toy:
A hoodie drawstring, or anything that he knows isn't his.

Favorite Nap Spot:
It literally changes weekly. Most often on the bed, under the cushion on the wingback chair, or on momma's purse when she leaves it on the floor.

Favorite Food:
Anything! Right now, he eats Merrick Before Grain.

Arrival Story:
When my boyfriend and I moved into our first apartment, we decided to get a cat. We went to our local animal shelter to meet the available cats. I had been looking for an older cat, because I know older cats have a harder time getting adopted. What we found was Rilo, who was 4 months old but already as big as his mother. We instantly loved him - he was laid back and playful, and he gladly sat on our laps. Most importantly, he didn't mind that my dog-loving boyfriend had no idea how to handle a cat. He just purred, and never even once put his claws out. We decided to discuss it and come back the next day to fill out the paperwork. As we were talking to one of the volunteers in the cat room, another couple started playing with Rilo. I can't describe how jealous I got, and I hated the idea of him going home with anyone but us. I knew this meant that he was the one, so after a brief discussion, we stopped by the desk and got the paperwork for him right away.

We were in college when we adopted Rilo, so we've been fairly mobile since then. He is a champ when it comes to traveling! Most recently, we moved from the Midwest to New England and spent 2 days in a car, and as long as we let him sit on one of our laps, he just slept. He's even a seasoned flyer!
