Well this is such a surprise!
I was eating all my kiblets (that's what Mom calls my dry food) for lunch time and Mom was checking her e-mails and she saw I was COTD!
She seemed very happy so I purred and purred and kept on eating because that's what I do when I am happy!
Mom even showed my Dad but he didn't really understand how important it was MOL!
Thank you every fur for all the gifts! It's so furtastic of you to be so sweet. :)
Mom hasn't typed my diaries in awhile (come on, MOM) so now I'll have to pester her even more to get on.
Mom is going to post a picture of how big I has gotten. It's crazy. I is 12 pounds of full muscle! Tuesday I is gonna to be 10 months old! Time flies! 2 more months until I get the "adult" kiblets! MOL!

I just wanted to tell everyone again now that it's been a little while and I just got off medicine that I seem to be doing all better! I've been keeping myself clean a bit better, I'm playing more, and more importantly I've been eating more! Everything looks pretty healthy so Mom is really happy about that. She's praying for no more sick days!
Now it's getting close to Xmas! It's going to be my first one! I really like Christmas trees... I like the smell and the fun things dangling from it. It makes me feel like I'm right outside! MOL!
What's everyfur's wish for xmas this year???

From Liam's Mom:
Hi everyone! It's been awhile since we wrote-- Liam celebrated his 8 month birthday six days ago but around that time he was starting to not feel too good.
Today he went to the vet with Dad. I was terribly nervous. He had diarrhea, was fatigued, wasn't eating as much(and completely abandoned eating his wet food), had some wheezing, and some bad gas and bloating around the stomach. It all came on very sudden-- last night being the worst. He even had this weird "tick" where he started shaking his head. After 4 hours of sleep and much worrying the results are in:
We're not really sure what Liam has. He had a fever :(, and was put on an IV because he was dehydrated. He got fresh blood work done and shots too. From what my fiancee said, he really hated the shots but blood work is good. They are still at the vet so I'm not sure which shots he got. I just can't believe my poor baby had an IV and fever. When the vet squeezed Liam, apparently there was so much gas.
Right now, he has deworming pills and new food-- we've always given Liam the very best food in controlled portions and times because he does have a sensitive stomach. Either he has worms or he is actually sick with something. He's been dewormed and I haven't seen visible signs of worms but honestly even that would be a blessing over something more serious. If he isn't better in 3 days, he's going back in.
I'm praying it's not something more serious and that he does get better. Naturally my worst fear is and was FIP because he was very bloated and sick. But I'm also a worry-wart.
Here is to extra love and comfort all this week. Please get better, Liam! Mom loves you more than anything!
