Yow it was scary yesterday with all that shakin and rollin and stuff.
All our furiends are ok and that is most important and we are glad all of you are safe. We felt it here in PA and when Pops came home he made sure we were all OK.
He told us that he thought someone was playing around by standing behind him and rocking his chair. When he turned around there was no one there and then he noticed his cubicle swaying. His buddy came over and things were still swaying. It was funny that Pops department were the only ones to stay in the building. Maybe not!
So he is with us today and we are with him and all is good on this sunny Aug day!
Purrs to all
We didn't feel the earthquake at our house, Timmy, but our cousins in Virginia did! They ran out of the house and scared Aunt Sylvia because they didn't come back right away.
Where do you live in PA? How long did it last? Here in central VA it was between 45-60 seconds long. Maumi thinks it was closer to 60 seconds. I felt like it was one hour.
We felt it here in Micjhigan!
And the curtains were moving, and the clock chains were jingling and I wasn't anywhere near them, MOL!
Lasted about 30-45 seconds we think...any longer and meowmy was going to be needing a bag...
Wow, the quake was felt so far away from VA. I'm glad everybody is okay.
THings fell off our walls here in VA. Some schools are damaged and some of the historical homes in Fredericksburg are damaged. We live about 30 miles northeast from the epicenter in Mineral and about 20 miles from the nuclear plant. It shut itself down like it was supposed to so no danger there. It shook about 60 seconds here. What a surprise to know it was felt all the way to Michigan, Canada, Illinois and Georgia. Hope there was no one hurt.
We didn't feel it here. Glad to hear you made it through okay.
Glad y'all are ok!
