Thank you to all the Catster angels helping me to look out for my family this past week and weekend. And thank you all the living kitties for your purrs and POTP! As you know we had some serious fumes leaking into our house from our oil tank and furnace. Well the repairman had to come back today to put a new starter on the furnace (that furnace needs a lot of new parts), and he told my mom that when he came on Friday to see what was going on, the readings he got on his meter were a 0 for CO2 where it's supposed to be a -250. They were right on the cusp of getting CO2 poisoning.
Tell your Mom CO2 detectors is a good idea. Your health is nothing to play around with. Thanks Zoe! Where the heck is everyone tonight? I have no idea! Thought about bailing myself, catch up on my shows. Watched Fringe Sunday night...dang I love that show! And Grim, my new fave. I love Grimm too! Glad yous mom was so smart!!! Great that yous ok!!! Thanks Blizz! Its good to know that now you can all be safely warm. We hope too, that your Mom will get her shot pronto, to nip things in the bud as it were, A product called 'clear lungs' is great with breathing issues, meowmy uses that herself. Purrs! Clear Lungs? Can you give me a link for it? OK, Here is one place that sells it reasonably, Clear Lungs...Swanson Health Products they also have their own version of it, which displays lower in the margin...this company makes good stuff, meowmy uses a lot of their things. You might also try Bromelain which can help with mucous, and we don't know if there are any sellers of this because meowmy picks it up in the health store herself, in Canada when she visits, its called 'Asthmasan', a liquid rememdy from the Dr Vogel line. We'll let you guys know when we get that one and how it's working. We have to wait until mom gets some money in the next week or so. She's very excited to try it! Oh my gosh, Alex. CO2 is so dangerous. Glad that you're all OK. Hope your Mom's back will be better soon. Our Mom hasn't been to the Gym in about a week but when she goes it helps her. She doesn't really have a bad back, just sitting in an office all day is not good. But it's been so cold here and icy too. It was just no fun to go. Glad that everyone is gonna be ok! Thanks Jezzy! Mietzi that's true, sitting all day like that actually hurts mom's back worse. She has to keep getting up but even then she still has pain. She's waiting for the call back on when they can do it. I have a feeling mom's going to need periodic shots after this. sigh. She was going to start working out within 2 weeks of her last shot with her doctor's blessings. But she got the flu BAD and it lasted over a month. Now that she's started she feels good when she does it but then as soon as she's been sitting for a bit she hurts again. Then the whole furnace thing happened and she was not feeling well (truthfully she still doesn't feel 100% after that). But I think it's gonna have to work out her system. She's going to get some of that natural stuff the WeBees were talking about and maybe that will help. Good Work Alex watching over your family. We are relieved that everyone is okay. That is so scary since you can succumb to it and you don't know it is happening. We are purring for your Mom that her back feels better soon. Please take care of yourself, Mom Lisa. But she's trying to stay moving around so her back doesn't get so stiff. |
