Arrival Story:
I've been looking for a kitty for a while & I saw her online at the Humane Society. It was an hour drive, so I didn't know if I wanted to go down to see her, and the webpage hadn't been updated for a week. So figuring she was no longer there, I decided to wait. Then I had a dream about her a few nights later, and finally broke down & went to see if she was still there. She was, and I went into the visiting room with her, and fell in love right away. She climbed in my lap & purred. So she came home with me (1/28/05) to her forever home.

Forever Home!

Yesterday I found my forever home! The day started off not unlike the so many before it at the shelter in Weld County. I'd been there for at least a month, but time moves so slowly when you're homeless, that I don't really know how long it was. It was late afternoon when my soon-to-be Mom came to see me. I saw her through the glass, and hoped that maybe she'd be the one to take me home. The nice lady who worked there soon came to get me from my cage and took me into the visiting room. I got to explore and visit with them both, and soon I was scooped up into Mom's lap where I just lay down and purred with all my heart. I wanted her to take me with her when she left. Well, soon I was taken back to my cage, and my heart sank, but it was only for a short while. Soon the nice lady who worked at the shelter came and got me, and put me in a kitty carrier to go home! I couldn't believe it! I was getting a second chance at a new life! It was heaven when we finally got home. The house was so warm & inviting...even the dog who lives here is bearable. So last night I got to sleep in a warm be instead of a cold wire cage. Mom says she'll never get rid of me, and I am happy to say I have found my FOREVER home!!!
