The nice coolish open window days have ended. The official temp here today was 94. The sign meowmy passes on the way to church said 99. UGH! She thought her van's A/C was not working very well, but in fact it was working overtime! The windows have stayed shut all day...and probably for a few more.
All of meowmy's garden plants which are perennials that are supposed to withstand heat and drought are looking very tired and sad...they need a break, too!

Please come back, nice weather, we miss you!

Oh...the poor dear perennials:( We know though, it's looking very dry on all the lawns and the bushes look sick and the somes trees, are changing color.

It is hot hot here too - but it's always over 100 in Texas in August. Glad we have A/C!

Oh that's horrible. Too hot! I hate it when it gets that hot. Mommy and Daddy just recently had to dismantle the entire central AC and heating unit in our home because the landlord didn't replace the filter for over 2 years and didn't mention it to them. We've only lived here for one year. It was really gross. Now our AC works much better though. Mommy is so mad because she had to go through several weeks of 100+ temps without a good ac unit. Horrible. I hope your heat wave ends soon!
