Oh, MY CATNESS!
There is chocolate overload on my page, not to mention the many other purrsents that are there, too...WOW!
I should say its more like a love overload, but how on earth can a kitty have too much of that!?! MOL!
Thanks to Catster HQ fur letting us have a great time on the Day of Love to spread it all around.
Thanks to all of you kitty pals who pawrticipated in sending out those purrsents!
There were 46 of them gracing my page!
I can't expect meomy to send out that many thanks notes...so I am doing it here:
THANK MEW SO FURRY MUCH!!!
I like to think that the candy boxes are filled with catnip goodies, covered in carob...
So I also had a goodly lot of fun times being with Penelope, my furry own sweet Valentine!
We exchanged some gifts, too; afterall, you have to give purrsents to your Valentine...jewels, treats and other wonderfurl items to warm a kitty heart.
I hope you all had a nice time catabrating Valentine's Day.
Meowmy had to go to work...sigh...and on my Gotcha Day too, sheesh!
Well since it was my Gotcha Day, here is a 'take two' of the Gotcha diary from last year. That way any furry pals who don't know all about it can read it here:
Gotcha Day, 2012
Well, yesterday was my Gotcha day, and today I thought it would be fun to share that story with my furends.
I was kind of too busy yesterday with all the Valentine's Day and Gotcha Day things going on around here...
A long time ago, 7 years, actually...I was in a den where there were a whole bunch of kitties, and all of them were Meezers, like me.
My kitty daddy was there, and several kitty aunts, uncles and cousins as well as my kitty mom. I no longer remember any of them, but now I do have another kitty brofur...by another mom, MOL!
Anyways, my meowmy was sad, because she and pawppy had just lost Toki, at the age that I am now, 7...Yikes!...well, he got furry sick, but I am healthy so I am not worried...
So they had Suki, who was also 7 or 8 years old. She was lonely, too, and did not get along with dog-guy, who by then was about 4.
Meowmy looked in the newspaper, and there were two ads for meezer kitties...so off she went. My birth home was closer so she went there first, by herself.
And when she got to that home, she had a hard time deciding which kitten was going to be coming home with her, MOL!
I just crawled into her lap...and purred...and she was smitten!
And then I went home to be her Pipo, named after a cat that one of her aunts had had years in the past, who was also a meezer like me!
After school that day, meowmy took one of my unfurbros and went to see the other kittens she had seen advertised...and that story is Minko's, you can read it in his diary...
Anyways, me being me...when that kitten came in the door, I knew I was not going to be having all the attention to myself here, so I hissed at him, MOL! And I hissed at him when he looked at my toys, and my food dish...and even at such a baby age, we were not too keen on each other..but it didn't take furry long, and we missed the littermates we had been with, so we made up our minds to call a truce...when we were allowed to be together according to the vets instructions...and we started to curl up together...and show brotherly affection to each other...and I even decided to make it my mission to protect this brofur of mine from dog-guy...and I still do! I have the fastest smacky paw meowmy has evfur seen! MOL!
And Suki...she was not happy with either of us! And she gave meowmy the stink eye, for a long time after that...but eventually she let us get near her, and we would make a kitty pileup...but meowmy has no pics of that...bummer!
Suki got sick when she was 10, and her seizures scared us a lot, so even though we knew meowmy was sad when she had to go to the RB, somehow we didn't seem to miss her all that much, likely because of the stronger bond we had with eachother...Meowmy missed her a whole lot more than we did...and still does, she was such a diva/princess/drama queen, MOL!
So there you have it!
Some how I must have missed reading your got cha day story so I am very glad you posted it again what a great got cha day!
Glad you had a nice Valentine's and Gotcha Day!
Such a lucky guy to find this wonderful furever home!
We are so glad you went to a loving home and became our furriend.
