It all started in early May when Dad saw an announcement about a Purina photo contest and encouraged Mom to enter. There were six categories and we entered each of them. Six Grand Prize winners were to be awarded, along with six First Place prize winners.
CONCATS! that is so kool and we are so proud of you and Huey! WOWEE! Congratulashuns! All those $$$$ will buy lotsa kitty and doggy chow, not to mention toys and beds and stuff. Way to go! Gunnarr T I think YOU were the winning factor in that picture! It's nice of you to let your brother take credit, though. OMC! OMD! I guess we need to get a dog and start entering contests. I knew that dog was good for something besides being cute. What is a pet account? We don't have one of those either. We just spend Mawmee and Daddy's money from their account. I think I need a pet account too. Heck, maybe I just need to come live at your house since you already have a dog and a pet account! Catgratulations Riley and Huey!!!! You two do like like Purrfect Winners. And what a wonderful photographer you have. All her great photo taking sure paid off big time. Congrats to your Mom!! Well, Mom does try to think about what a judge(s) would be looking at. Sometimes our humans see one of our photos one way because they know us, but a stranger may not see the same thing at all. And we know the photo has to fit the category, and not just the photo caption that goes with it. But, we are happily surprised we actually won such a great grand prize in cash! If we won one of the first place prizes which are food coupons, we would have probably held a contest on Catster/Dogster to give them away and that would have been fun too! Maybe we should talk our humans into one of those instead of begging with our big eyes saying the cupboards are bare where's our food. Raza's doing that to the human right now.MOL.
