Last Year at this Time...

...my brother and I were looking for a home. Mommy had just buried her sweet Lilly and was struggling with the loss of her constant companion. When Mommy found us on Craig's List she had a feeling that we were the ones she was looking for....and when she met us just a week or so later she was sure that Lilly had guided us to her.

Now, almost a year has passed and while Mommy still misses Lilly, she is so very happy that Curry and I have come to live with her. She didn't even mind when she found out Curry was a boy and not the girl she expected after a couple weeks!! Oops!

She says that we have helped her so much this year and it is obvious that she is totally in love with the two of us. We have a lot of fun in our little family.

High Flying

Today I gathered up enough courage to jump to the top of my moms bedroom door!! It was really fun! I think my brother was mad at me though. He is not the only one who can do it now and I think it pissed him off because he was trying to block my way down. Luckily, mom made him get out of the way so I could jump down to the platform on my kitty tree. My mom told me she was really proud of me for being so brave. I think she'll put at least one of the pictures she took of me on top of the door up on my page. I'm a little smaller than my brother and sometimes he shows off his muscles and jumping strength. Well, I showed him. Now he can't tease me about being weak. I can do the same things he does without any big muscles. Girls rule!!

Not a great day!

Mom just bought a harness for me and put it on me just now. I don't like it!!! My brother Curry doesn't have one on, so why do I have to go first? If she's thinking of taking me out for a walk she better wise up soon. I like being indoors, I don't need to go outside. I think she's crazy if she thinks I'm going out on a leash...that's for dogs not cats!!
