Arrival Story:
Sodapop(named by his daddy) was adopted from the Rancho Cucamonga shelter on July 24, 2009. I had my eye on his brother, fluffy emerald eye black/brown tabby with big paws. My husband wanted a big male cat as an addition to newly adopted sisters, Xiochitl and Ani. While introducing fluffy Sandoval(shelter name) Sodapop(formerly Peke) caught his eye. "That one is money!" Sodapop stole his heart...I had my reservations until I held him...although he was big... he was also sweet, gentle and an instant purrer. Waiting several days until he was neutered was hard but worth it. Within hours he was grooming himself and helping himself to the girls' food, toys, and us. Teaching him boundaries was easy although he can't help chasing the girls around in typical kitten fashion despite having being nuetered that very same day.

Finally I'm feeling much better......the girls are so much fun to chase but I can't figure out why they get so mad when I catch them.........Ani and Xiochitl have teamed up which makes chasing twice the fun...I don't like it when my momma makes me rest.....she thinks the girls really like to nap....but I know better.......gotta go......I see Xiochitl's tail....byeeeeeeeeeeeee

After I was vaccinated I was unable to play and chase my new sisters...Ani was already getting used to me....it was all that I could do but watch the girls have fun for an entire week...I'm still coughing a little...at least my big mama promised to stop squirting that nasty antibiotic by Wednesday but she was really scared that my cold was getting worse and worse... she was really worried about me....but today was the first day that I was able to join the fun....I got the girls back for bugging me while I was sick.....I really like my Vet, he is really cool...but I hate being poked and given shots.....maybe my mam will see how strong I am and stop giving me meds today!
