Arrival Story: Lily literally walked into my life the night before father's day in 2007. As my friend left my apartment that night, a cat ran into my apartment. Since I have had cats before I knew this one had to be lost since she was wearing a collar. I went out that night knowing her owners were probably frantic about losing such a beauty but to no avail. I quickly went out and bought her some food, a litter box, and a toy and I swear I have never seen a cat eat that much! She was a bit on the skinny side but I figured I could fatten her up in no time!
I was leaving the next day to go home to visit my family and ended up taking her with me. She lasted about 5 min in the carrier til I gave up and let her out to roam my lil sportscar during the 6 1/2 hours trip to my parents house. wow was that an adventure!
My parents werent thrilled, but Lily was very well behaved for a
" stray". I took her to our vet and found out that not only was she completely healthy but she was pregnant! Imagine my surprise! At the time I could barely afford to feed myself and having to feed another was a big expense. I continued to look for Lily's owner for over 3 months, even after she had her three beautiful babies. However, by the time Lily had Phoenix, Ceasar, and Nina, I was so utterly attached that I figured I would have to make do.
Luckily, my parents have chipped in some money so that I could have her "fixed" and kitten coupons for food.litter etc that I find are helping!!!

Bio: Lily was found in the Wichita, KS area and I am guessing at Egyptian Mau from her spots and stripes. If you have a better guess, please feel free to let me know as I am quite curious about both Lily and Ceasar!

Alrighty...my son is Ceasar, the one who I adopted is She/Her and her significant other is He/Him.
She went to the store today after telling me we running out of food. She took longer than expected but I luved the new pouches she got...and ate my fair share with my my son. Other than longingly looking out the door when she opened it to bring the groceries in, I have had a pretty good day...oh wait and my son attacking me while I slept. I wasnt happy and hissed at him but he kept at it. I think that my son likes disturbing my nap time. Eventually Ceasar calmed down and I was able to calm back down and we dozed together on the new comfy chairs that He and She brought home awhile ago.
Right now I am trying to stay out of Ceasar's backflip range as he attempts to catch a flying object that neither She nor me sees. Figures She would leave the "special" one with me...but she takes good care of me and gives me treats often so its ok.
Well She is getting ready for bed so Im off to crawl into bed with He and She and maybe get a massage out of the deal from Her.
Night all.
