Arrival Story:
Melanie is actually an outdoor cat and is the friendliest out of her litter. Her mother had birth right on my dad's deck! We adopted her but she is very naughty and isn't sure weather she wants to use the litterbox or the floor in the bathroom near the litterbox. She is soon going to be spayed, but we can't have her dropping off presents outside the litterbox!
I actually know her mother very well. She, too is a stray, and i rescued her. Her name is Milk. Milk's mother, Tuna, who also visits often, gave birth to Milk on March 19th. Tuna gave birth to 4 kittens and she rejected two. I rescued the two kittens and they were doing very well. After a while, Milk's brother or sister, Trooper died when it was four days old. We tried to return Milk back to Tuna and Tuna had actually taken her! Another one of Tuna's kittens died, so there was only two left. The other one came to be known Charcoal, a pure black kitten. She moved on and disappeared since she was wild. I get to pet Milk once in a while while she's eating. Anyway, that was Melanie's family biography.

I was finally adopted! Along with my brother, Ritz!
And this whole time my owners thought I was a girl, I'm a guy!
I wanted to tell them that, cuz they named me, Melanie. And they kept calling me a she.
They finally figured it out!
And i love being in my new home!
Except,,there are 3 really big cats that already live here and they hiss and growl at me!
So i'm being watched 24/7 with lots of attention, and I'm kept in a different room from those bigger cats!

Wow.
Everywhere i go, it's all so big!
Even the grass is taller than me.
Whoever lives here should really consider mowing there lawn once in a while. That would be nice. Then i wouldn't feel so tiny.
I'm really mad at my mother.
Why can't I be fed by one of those bigger kitties that look so odd in the house that i keep seeing through the window?
They only feed me about once or twice a day.
That's not enough for me!
Anyway, about my mom..
She keeps bringing in these weird animals like squirrels, moles, birds...
There so lifeless. Why can't they move like me? She eats them and expects me to eat with her!
Ha! Is she outta her mindddd??? They stink so badly, too! I'd much rather eat some of that food the bigger cats or whatever they are feed me.
I'm so jealous, you know why? Everyday i see this really large cat that lives inside and he is soo spoiled.!
Why can't i be an inside kitty, too? He gets to eat whenever he's hungry.! And he gets all this attention! I try to run inside whenever that big door opens, but the weird big looking cats always push me outside again.! It's not fair. Well, maybe they'll give in and will take me inside with them!
