Diary of The Porch Kitties http://www.catster.com/cats/1007542
I've hesitated to write this with all the confusion going on with diaries. Saw some putting their own name/page at the top to help so going with that.
The morning of October 29, 2010, I came home from work and found Pretty Bit in the road. It's something the "mom" of a feral cat dreads and tries to prepare for, but never truly expects. It looked like it was a glancing blow from a car and that it was quick. I do not think she suffered in any way. I'm glad for that. She is buried where my mother lives as I've no where to dig a grave for an adult cat where I wouldn't worry about animals getting to her. She's in a beautiful wooded area on the edge of a field where Tigger and Felix are resting. I got to pet her when she was still zoned after her spay less than two months ago. Otherwise, she only ever barely touched her nose to my hand before running back a few feet. Despite not being able to love ON her I did love her very much and I hope she's enjoying the bridge with all the other kitties.
I'm thankful I decided to keep Pewter as that lets me keep a piece of her with me always.

Short is the life of most feral cats.
We do what we can and love them as we do all living things.
We know our Angels will show he the ropes and there will be no more hunger, fear, cold or heat.
We Purr in Remembrance!
Timmy T and Family I'm so sorry that Little Bit journeyed to the bridge, but I'm glad she knew love from your family.
