Feline Fix Fest 2026

As we continue to shine a light on feral cat awareness and trap-neuter-return initiatives throughout #feralcatawarenessmonth, there’s one event that’s making a real difference. Feline Fix Fest is a powerful weekend offering free spay/neuter services and a pet pantry to support an underserved community in Miami, Florida. Not only does this event have a huge impact on the people and cats in the local community, but it also sets an example for feral cat awareness around the world.

What Is Feline Fix Fest?

In the aftermath of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires of 2025, Mission: Meow, a unique organization that supports small, feline-focused nonprofits with meaningful grants, wanted to find a meaningful way to help. They joined forces with Mission: Meow board member Dr Matt McGlasson, Gatos Callejeros United & Urban Panthers to host a free spay/neuter event paired with a cat pantry providing food, litter, toys, and other essentials to cat families in an underserved community. That became the very first Feline Fix Fest.
This year, Feline Fix Fest is heading to Miami.
Alongside Street Cat Clinic, Little Beans’ Hope Rescue, and Hearts for Paws, Mission: Meow is hosting Feline Fix Fest 2026 on October 17-18, offering free spay/neuter services and a free pet pantry.
You’ll find Feline Fix Fest 2026 at Street Cat Clinic, 500 NE 167th St, Miami, FL 33162. All spay/neuter slots have already been filled, but the pet pantry welcomes walk-ins on the day. There will also be tents set up with food, litter, treats, food toppers, and toys, and they will be raffling off a Litter Robot!!

This incredible weekend kicks off at 7 pm on Friday, October 16th with a screening of the award-winning documentary 25 Cats From Qatar. Following the film, there’ll be a special Q&A and panel discussion featuring Mye Hoang, filmmaker and director of 25 Cats From Qatar; Katy McHugh of Sip & Purr Café; Sterling “TrapKing” Davis of TrapKing Humane Trapping; and Sally Williams, Founder of Mission Meow. Together, they’ll talk cats, community, TNR, advocacy, and the work being done for cats and the people who care for them. Tickets to this special evening can be purchased from the website.
Current event sponsors include Cat Lady Box, Meowtel, Cameron Downing, Brook Fountains, The Two Crazy Cat Ladies, Weruva, Okocat, Litter Robot, and Pet Greens, with product donations from Dave's Pet Food, Inaba, Hide & Scratch, Kong, For Mew Toys, Square Paws, Chewy, Purina, and Cuddly, but more support is welcome!

How Can You Get Involved?
With an event this epic, donations are always appreciated to help offset the costs. Just head to https://missionmeow.org/donate/ – large or small, any donation helps. There is also an Amazon wishlist for cat litter donations needed for the pet pantry.
Of course, the issue of stray and feral cats is not just limited to one event, one weekend, or one location. You can show your support by raising awareness, donating time or money to animal rescue organizations, fostering or adopting cats & kittens from animal shelters, and getting your cats spayed and neutered by 6 months.
Follow @missionmeow for updates on this and future Feline Fix Fest events.
