All Month Long: September is Happy, Healthy Cat Month

Tuesday, September 5 – Saturday, October 28: On the Prowl

If you’re looking for some feline culture, don’t miss the On the Prowl: Cats and Dogs in French Prints exhibit at the Zimmerli Art Museum. This distinguished university-based museum is at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Saturday, September 16: Yoga with Cats

Join yoga instructor Matt Turner and some adoptable feline friends for stretching and stress relief. At 10 a.m., namaste on down to SICSA Pet Adoption Center in Kettering, Ohio. If you can’t make this particular date, Yoga with Cats is offered every third Saturday of the month. Get more details at sicsa.org/events.

Sunday, September 24: 12th Annual Cat Caper 5K

Get ready, get set and go run in the 12th Annual Cat Caper 5K benefiting the Cat Welfare Association of Columbus, Ohio. The event at the Griggs Reservoir starts at 9 a.m., following a Kids Fun Run at 8:30. There will also be a pancake breakfast, vendors and raffles, plus awards for top runners, walkers and age-group winners.
