Welcome to Milwaukee’s first cat cafe, where you’ll find coffee, wine, delicious nibbles and adoptable cats! Saturday, July 14: CatFest, London

If you have plans to hop across the pond around this time, be sure to check out CatFest London. It’s an idea founder Britt Collins has had for 20 years. As a music journalist, “every musician I interviewed or met, from Paul McCartney and David Bowie to Pete Doherty of the Libertines were mad cat lovers.” The event features talks from authors Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson and Gwen Cooper, buzzworthy products, books, art, music, vegan food, cat-themed cakes and cocktails, plus adoptable cats. Saturday, July 21 to Sunday, July 22: 82nd Annual Garden State Cat Show & Expo

More than 400 cats will strut their stuff in front of nine internationally renowned judges at one of the Cat Fanciers’ Association’s primo cat shows. This year’s theme, Puttin’ on the Glitz, stars Kathy Pritchard’s fashionista Cornish Rex cats posing in designer gowns and accessories. You’ll also find adoptable cats, shopping at the Meow Mall, food, cat agility, caricaturist Steve Nyman, CPR expert Steve Ross and renowned judge Iris Zinck to answer questions. Saturday, July 28 to Sunday, July 29: Kittydelphia Pop-Up Cat Fair

Kittydelphia, the city’s premier pop-up cat fair is back for its second year. Featuring cool vendors selling all kinds of cat-themed apparel, toys, jewelry, art and much more, it takes place at Power Plant in Old City. You’ll also meet lots of adoptable cats and kittens from the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). And don’t miss out on the celebrity cats, guest speakers and a feline-themed art exhibit. The show is free, with a suggested donation of $5 at the door. All donations, as well as money raised from the sale of raffle tickets, will go to PAWS, Philadelphia’s 100 percent donor-supported no-kill shelter. Get more information at kittydelphia.com.
Sunday, July 29: meowfest, Vancouver, BC

Experience the Canadian West Coast’s first-ever feline festival. This global celebration for cat lovers includes shopping, celebrity cats, speakers, adoptable cats, food trucks and entertainment, plus these celebs: Kitten Lady, The Cat Photographer, Nala Cat, Luna Rose and Pudge the Cat.
