400+ Arabic Cat Names: Great Ideas for Your Cool Cat

Arabic Cat Names

If you want an unusual name for your feline, choosing an Arabic cat name is a great way to go. There are many beautiful Arabic names that make great choices for cats. You can pick one for a cat breed native to that part of the world or for any feline that deserves an extremely unique name.

Due to the long history of the Arabic language, there are many different names that you can choose from. These range in meaning and sound, so just about anyone can find an Arabic cat name that they like.

We included our favorites in this article, so we hope that you find the perfect name for your feline!

How to Name Your Cat

There are several ways that you can go about naming your cat. Preferably, you would find a single name that you like and choose it for your cat. However, it rarely works out this way. Instead, you often can’t find something that is suitable or find way too many options. If you have more than one person involved, finding a name everyone likes can be even more difficult.

For this reason, we recommend making a list of all the names that you like for your cat. Some people’s lists will be longer than others. In the beginning, you don’t have to be too choosy. Just write down anything that sounds good. Then, start crossing them out.

Get the list down to a few names that you really can’t choose between. Include others’ ideas on the list if more people are involved in naming the cat.

Next, you can try out the names on your cat for a day or two each. Certain names may sound great on paper but just don’t fit well for your pet. This will also allow you to get to know your new cat better before you select a name. Since it typically takes cats a week or more to learn their name, this process should not confuse them.
