When fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld passed away at the age of 85 in February, his Birman cat Choupette made headlines when it was reported that Lagerfeld left part of his fortune to his beloved feline companion so that she can continue to live the pampered lifestyle she was used to. As it turns out, Choupette might not have needed much. The inheritance (which technically goes toward caretaking expenses and not the cat herself) will be in addition to the money Choupette earned herself by starring in advertisements for cars and beauty products.

Choupette was a Birman, not a Burmese. These are 2 entirely different breeds. You should do a better job of fact checking.
