Watch This Ridiculously Civilized Cat Dry Her Face with a Towel
Does your cat drink from the faucet? Wait, sorry, let us rephrase that: Of course your cat drinks from the faucet. Why would a cat drink from a stagnant bowl? That's for dogs. Dogs will drink from a puddle of oily rainwater because they're dogs and dogs are gross.
But cats … cats are not dogs. They are not gross. They spend hours grooming their perfect coats. They drink out of faucets. Not faucets running at full stream, oh no, but at a steady, precise drip. Yes, that's it. Now you can never turn your faucet off. You're just going to have to learn to live with the maddeningly steady plunk of a leaky faucet.
Now that we've cleared that up, we'd like to introduce you to Bianca. Bianca, like most cats, prefers to drink from a running faucet. She likes the way the bubbles feel on her tongue, it's kind of like drinking from a champagne fountain. Fancy, right? But Bianca does not like having a damp face. Oh no. So Bianca does what any other civilized cat would do -- she wipes her face on a towel. And it's so adorable when she does!
Well isn't that just dainty. If your bath towels smell like fish breath, now you know why.
