Jules was found as a stray at only eight months old. The vet discovered he had a heart murmur, so the Best Friends Animal Society took him to a cardiologist. There they learned he had four congenital heart problems along with his heart murmur. His heart is enlarged, yet somehow still functioning, and the blood flow is still normal in his body. It’s a true miracle that Jules has survived.
Jules’ cardiologist is surprised that even now Jules doesn’t need any medication to survive. The kitty could have a long life or a shortened one, but that hasn’t stopped Jules from enjoying life to the fullest.
His loving foster mom, Candi, has taken him in for now, and he gets to live in a home environment with other animal friends. Jules has taken a liking to her dog, Mabel, rather than the other cats. They have become best friends and do everything together. They sleep, eat, and play together, no matter what.
While Jules does get tired easily due to his condition, he is happy and loves to play and is very affectionate. As a foster mom, it is hard for Candi not to get emotionally attached, but she knows there is a special home out there for a kitty with a special heart. Jules is a survivor. He made it out of the shelter without being euthanized.
Jules is ready for a forever home where they will give him love and he will love them back.
