Arrival Story:
My previous cat of 10 yrs had passed away of kidney disease at age 15. I went to the sheltor to visit & hopefully cheer up. Cleo had been brought in with her newborn kitten "T". They had been surviving under the porch of an abandoned house. Only one kitten had been found. When she was brought in, they accidently put them both with the adult cats, & Cleo stood over her baby with her front legs crossed to protect her!

Bio:
Cleo is a beautiful cat who needs more individual attention. She would be fine with one well mannered dog, but we have accumulated 3 rescues and hope to adopt another. Two of our dogs have chronic illnesses to attend to. She AND her daughter "T" have both been front declawed, and are spayed.

People! She would love to be in someone's lap or arms all day! You can't pet her too much! She loves to be brushed & combed. She even loves strangers! She will come to the door to greet the mailman, UPS, etc.

Pet-Peeves:
Big dogs who don't respect her space (and the vet!),She would be fine with one dog, but we have three rescues who don't respect her space.

Anything with catnip

Right now, either on the ottoman or on the covered laundry hamper
