Arrival Story: I had rescued two kittens that I was fostering until I could get them into the shelter. Once I saw Pandora I was able to trade and took home the 4 year old adult and left the kittens to find a home. Everyone wants kittens. No one wanted her. She didn't show well at the shelter. She hid at the back of the cage and didn't want to look at any one and she didn't like being picked up. May 25, 2001 is the day I brought her home so I made it her birthday and just picked 4 years old since we didn't really know. I worry she is really older than I think she is. She immediately had a battle with Lucy and she hated the dogs. There was a lot of screaming for several months until she finally accepted the fact that this was the way it was going to be and then she settled down.
Bio: She had been abandoned in the basement of an apartment building when the people moved and was brought to the shelter starving. She isn't starving any more. Whoever had her before also spent money to have her declawed but did not spay her. Her nickname is Sweetie Pee because some times when she is upset she prefers to use area rugs as her bathroom rather than her litter box. I wouldn't trade her for anything. She's a wonderful girl.

Well I never thought this would be my weekend. First Saturday night my staff person tricked me and grabbed me and used that stupid comb on me. I hate being combed. I yelled and hissed but she held tight and got a few lumps of hair off me. I must admit it feels pretty good now (but don't let her know I said that).
Then Sunday morning my stupid brother Rufus started chasing me and trying to grab and kill me. He grabs me and hangs on and kicks me with his back feet - when staff isn't around to protect me. Lucky for me she was here and she rescued me from him. Then she had the nerve to pick him up and kiss him and take him down stairs. I know she's been worried about him but he's going to think she kissed him because he had been picking on me.
Oh well, guess maybe I can con some special treats out of her this morning because she feels guilty I got picked on .... gotta go ......

Sunday night our staff person removed all our food and water bowls when she went to bed. Monday morning she ignored us all while she got cleaned up and dressed. She told us it would be okay. Well she lied. To Me! She put me in the bathroom and closed the door and I could here her working with food for the others. But none for me. Then she came with the awful box and scooped me up and put me in it. Again she tells me it will be okay. Well it wasn't. She took me for a ride in the car and left me with those awful people in white coats.
I did my best to tell her no by screaming but she left me anyways. She kissed me and said she would see me later. At least she didn't lie about that. But when she picked me up I hurt and was angry. The awful white coats cleaned my teeth but kept 3 of them as payment for their troubles. I was very angry. Now I am missing a front fang and Rufus is laughing at me and calling me stupid looking. Brothers!
