Arrival Story:
My cousin's boyfriend cat had kittens... She called and asked if I wanted one. Newly married after my dad telling me NO CATS - I said YES. When we got back from our honeymoon. I picked her up at 5 weeks old. She was bitting me on the way home - and continued that her whole 17 year 8 day life. She had one unique personatlity. She was our first furchild and she'll never be forgotten.

Bio:
Skeamer unique personality was one only a mother could love, and her dad tolerated. She was quite a meany, but we loved her. She wanted to be in the same room as you, but didn't want you to touch her for more than a second or two. She'd only cuddle w. you if you had a blanky she could hide under if she saw you look to often or try to pet her, off your lap she'd go. We often got that greater than you look from her. She could de-decorate a Christmas tree in seconds flat then lay down and close her eyes like it wasn't her. She never meowed much till after she was about 10 years old, then it was moreof a demanding sound. She broke a front canine off bitting me and ended up over compesating her curly lip - hence one of her nicknames ended up being Curley - and it'd get higher and higher is she wasn't happy about something. She was carried to breakfast and carried to our bed at night - and it was expected or she'd pout. She was our first furbaby and will always hold a very special place in our hearts. She had kidney failure for the last 8 years of her life. She went blind the last 14 months of her life but it was the cancer on her bottom jaw I found in Jan 07 that spread and was the ultimate deciding factor to end her suffering that took her life.
