Arrival Story:
I had been thinking of adopting a companion and playmate for Sylvester as it had been my original idea to adopt two kitties at the same time. I found Mia on craigslist.com and fell in love with her cute little face. She is very tiny and at 12 weeks of age actually looks more like a 6 week old kitten. She has lots of energy but does eventually sleep. She loves to play and loves teasing Sylvester when they are on the cat condo. They chase each other around the apartment at night- indy 500 kitties!

Bio:
I found out that she is very vocal when upset or wants my attention. She cried the whole way from the adoption agency to my home which was about 45 minutes. Oh my did she get loud! Wow. Also, it seems that she was a kitten of about four weeks found wandering around by herself on a busy street. They took her to the local humane society where an agency called Unconditional Love Animal Rescue and Placement took her in, nursed her back to health and had her neutered. It broke my heart to find out that she was an abandoned kitty. Because of Mia's experience being alone at such a young age, she tends to become a bit feral like when upset. She hates having her claws clipped which makes it a big challenge to get them done. She does show me signs that she could become a very loving kitty and I am hoping this happens as she gets older.
