Arrival Story:
My friend took in a pregnant stray. Never having had a pet before, she had no idea that the cats needed to be spayed/neutered. The cats kept multiplying and before she knew it, she had about 20 cats. From the minute he was born Miles stood out from the rest...in color and in personality. When I found out my friend was going to take them all to a shelter, I had to take Miles. I lied to my husband and said I brought him home because one of my coworkers was thinking of taking him in. When he caught on, he called every no kill shelter in the city and swore we didn't have room for another cat. Two days later Miles won him over.

Bio:
Once when Miles was playing on the back porch, he accidentally knocked over a small can of paint. Somehow he got the paint on the tip of his tail. He didn't like that too much. So he decided to hide and try to bite off that part of his tail since the paint wouldn't come off. The vet had to amputate part of his tail since he did so much damage. Miles didn't like his stitches or his e-collar. He'd manage to take off his collar and bite his stitches. The vet almost had to amputate more of his tail. After a good scolding from mommy and daddy, Miles realized the seriousness of the situation and left his tail alone. The stitches came off and the fur grew back. Now Miles has a stubby tail. The cutest stubby little tail EVER!
