Arrival Story:
when meowmy was a nursing student in baltimore, one day she walked home a different route at a different time. out of the bushes ran me, a tiny little kitten with mud and grass all dried and caked up across my nose and eyes. she rushed me up to the vet a street away and waited an hour to see the vet. you know how everyone goes around with smiles to look at everyone elses' pets? well they'd just get this grief-stricken look on their face when they saw me and almost start to cry. but in that hour meowmy KNEW i had the will and spirit to survive. the vet was doubtful and gave me adult meds, my only chance he said. then he told meowmy all i needed was alot of TLC. as a nursing student, that was all she needed to hear!! she made me a special bed with a heating blanket, a ticking clock to simulate a meowmy kitty's heartbeat, music, flowers, and pictures of the Holy Mother and Baby Jesus. she took me to the vet almost everyday, thinking something might be wrong with me. the vet finally put his foot down and told her to come back only for the scheduled appointments. i was named hugo after the hurricane which was supposed to come to baltimore the night she found me, but didn't. the receptionist at the vet used to laugh and call me huge-o cause i was so small, but what was funny was that she was so large! meowmy eye dropper fed me til i could eat big kitty food, and the rest was history. when i was 16 i got cancer and i ascended to the bridge june 26, 2006.

Bio:
hugo taught me, meowmy, everything important about healing. we never "heal" anyone else; we can only provide the environment and tools they can use to heal themselves including LOVE. everyone thought i was so wonderful for saving poor little hugo, but he saved himself, with some help from me. he taught me the creed of florence nightengale. i often thought he channeled the trickster. an animal communicator told me he was my soulmate thru many lifetimes, and i await our companionship again....

7 things about me:

1. my beautiful girlfriend,Tini, and I helped her meowmy find a precious piece of lost jewelry on the night of the lunar eclipse that helped heal her meowmy's heart.

2. my bestest friend is Kate, who was a wonderful meowmy to her babies, and a wonderful baby to her human family, who love her very much.

3. I was named after Hurricane Hugo which was supposed to come to Baltimore the night my meowmy found me, but didn't.

4. I had a crick at the top of my tail.

5. I snored loudly and made meowmy laugh.

6. an animal communicator told my meowmy that I was her "soulmate" and we'd been together other lifetimes as human and animal, and that when she found me, I was dying and I gave her my heart, which she has taken good care of ever since!!

7. I have come to visit her twice since I went to the Rainbow Bridge, and once in a dream, which both taught and healed her.
