Arrival Story:
Gabriel was from a local breeder, but she didn't like to deal with kitten buyers, so she sold her kittens to a pet shop. I named him Gabriel because the first thing I said to my Husband when I saw him was "that kitten is an angel". It was March of 1992. I had just lost Thai, my pet of 17 years. We went to Pet City and I found Gabriel. What a beautiful kitten. He was like peaches and cream. My husband didn't think he wanted the kitten, so we went home without him. I was on the phone with my brother that night and told him about the beautiful flame point himalayan kitten I had found. My husband had a change of heart the next day and we went back to Pet City and bought Gabriel. Later that week, a letter came addressed to my husband from my brother in Washington. It was a check and a note to go buy the Himalayan kitten for me. So, Gabriel ended up being a gift from my brother.
