Today is Thanksgiving

Here it is, Thanksgiving already. What happened to summer? I like the warm and sunny days. Cold is NOT my friend!

Something purr-ty exciting has happened. Last April my bruvver, Oliver (you may know him as OWP), was sick & went to see a new doctor who recommended a new food for him. Mama switched us all to this new food called CALIFORNIA NATURAL. All of us liked it and we eat it up efurry morning and night.

Even though the food change was for Oliver it has benefitted me too. All my life I have had an allergy that gave me a bald spot & caused me to itch. I used to take shots for the itching & the hair loss, but because the shots could cause diabetes mama stopped them. She said I was still beautiful even if I had some thin fur on my back. Also, about 4 years ago mama noticed I was not coming for breakfast when she called me. Then she noticed that one time when the smoke alarm went off (Daddy was cooking) I didn't move or react. I had gone deaf. Mama was sad cuz I couldn't hear her tell me she loves me (I still know she loves me).

Annnnnyyyyywaaaaay, this change to the new food has relieved ALOT of my allergy. My hair is growing back, I don't itch hardly at all and the BEST MEWS OF ALL???? My hearing has come back a little bit. If mama stands in the same room with me and she says my name or talks to me in a certain tone, I look at her BECAUSE I HEAR HER!

I am so happy my bruvver, Oliver, got sick so we got new food so I could stop itching.

And so I am THANKFUL for the new food & not itching & hearing mama again.

A Wee Touch of the Irish

Mama came home today from being OUT and she told me: today Cagney we're going to make you a special picture.

So I sat on the desk beside her while she clicked and clicked and moved and sighed and clicked and then she yelled: FINALLY!!!

And the result is my St Patrick's Day picture.

I'm so excited to have a special picture...and I think I look purrty good, if I do say so myself.

THANKS MAMA!!!!

It's My Birfday and I Can Nap If I Want To

Here it is, my birfday! Seems like they come 'round faster and faster efurry year.

Today I am 12! Mama says that makes me a mature girl.

WHAT EFFUR!

Anyway, I got my favorite breakfast of Innova this morning AND I got to have it on my own counter by myself without sharing the space with my pesky, pushy bruvvers.

Even Scout the Dog stayed inside this morning to wish me a Happy Day.

I was hoping for sunshine so I could have my favorite morning nap on the living room floor. Alas, for the one gazillionth day in a row there is no sun.

So what?! I'll make my own nap nest at the end of the sofa in the hidey hole. None of the bruvvers can fit in there so I'll have peace & quiet.

All this talk of napping has made me sleepy.........
