Arrival Story:
We had just lost our beloved Mr. Fuzzypants to stomach cancer. I vowed no more cats. Two weeks later, a friend sent out an email asking if anyone wanted a stray cat who was living on another friend's porch. I called. I asked if it was a boy or a girl. Because I just didn't want another boy. As fate would have it, it was a girl. I spoke with the woman who was caring for her. She actually delivered her to my house the next day. When Rogue came in, she jumped out of her arms. Walked around. Surveyed the place. Jumped into my husband's lap and decided she was home.

Bio:
Rogue and her sister Zora (who we had only had for about a week) were in the flood of Hurricane Ivan here in Pittsburgh. By the time my husband I were on our way home, we couldn't get to our house. After a sleepless night and a worry filled afternoon, we were finally allowed back into our home. The first site we saw was Rogue and Zora sitting on the steps looking at us like, "Where's the food." I was so relieved to see those two girls. They weren't too excited, because they had to go live with us in my mom's basement for three months after that, but all is well now..

I guess I'm learning to like Tyler and Baron a little better now. Sure, I still swat at them and grumble. But they're getting bigger by the day. I want them to respect my authority now before they get a whole lot bigger than me. I must admit, it is awfully fun to watch them run around. Every now and then I even jump into the chase. But once they start chasing me...it's grrrr. Swat. All in all, though it's a pretty sweet gig. 2 brothers. 1 sister. Lots of lovin'. I guess I can't complain.

Am I eeeeevil?

No way. Look at me. I'm too pretty to be evil. Hahahahaha. That being said, I must admit I was a bit overjoyed today when that Tyler creature, as mom calls him, chased Zora down the stairs. Zora the one he loves and adores. Zora the one who's always playing with him. Wait...was that a kitty screech I heard coming from Zora? Why yes. Yes it was. I had to run downstairs to the basement to see what was going on. All was well, he didn't hurt her just scared her a bit. Whoa! Then he came after me. I was outta there lickety-split.

Ooops

Did I knock you out of the window last night, Tyler? Look, dude. It's my window. I was here first. Before all of you. Before that adoptive mom of yours Zora and before you two little squirts. I'm just teaching you a lesson grasshopper, to watch out for the paw. It's quick as lightening. And I'll give you fair warning with a little yowl. Besides, don't make a big deal out of it. You didn't fall that far. You landed on the chair that mom keeps in the window that has a big soft cushion on it. But you know when mom's not looking, I'm going to give you a kiss on the nose or two. Once I get used to your "boy" scent, that is.
