Tales from the litterbox

strange days

Mom and Dad have been randomly packing up the boxes of stuff. I HOPE we're not moving again. We only moved here 6 months ago, and it was a terrifying experience for me. I walked around all cowered down for 2 days, hid in the bathroom and wouldn't come out. I also catterwalled at night the first night because I was scared. Until then, I had lived in the bad lady's house, then the shelter for 6 months, then after that they told me I was going to my forever home...forever lasted a year! Mom says "home" is where your family is, not your apartment or house.

House to myself!

Today mom and dad took the dog for a walk, and I had the whole house to myself for a couple of hours, it was nice. I walked on the kitchen table, and then laid on the back of the sofa...I even got to sit on the coffee table without being shooed off!

Mom cleaned out my ears again today, I hate it, but it has to be done. I'm feeling really itchy in there, so mom is going to take me to the vet to have them checked out again. They always tell her nothing is wrong, but she worries about me all the time.

Nate came over today and hung around for a while. I took a nap, that was about it for my day. Mom has some crunchy treats called Feline greenies that I REALLY like, so I'm going to go stand in the kitchen and meow at her until she gives me some!

Company

I love when company comes over. I like Jelan, and after the dog is done mauling her, she scratches my head and gives me kisses! Nate comes over sometimes (I suppose he's my uncle) We're buddies now, but when I first moved in here he used to make fun of my ears. One day my mom smacked him really hard and told him to stop making fun, and he never did again. I used to run away when he'd come over, because he REALLY hurt my feelings, but now he gives me back scratches *yay*

That landlady came over yesterday, mom doesn't like her very much, but there's nothing she can do about her until we move. Grandma Gleason came over too and had Tea with us, she's a nice lady...I tried to visit with her, but Airabella stole the show by barking and doing her cute little tricks.

I took a long nap on the sofa today, and mom took the dog to bed with her.... Sometime around 3am, the bedroom door opened and the dog shot out at me like lightening and pounced me...I WAS ASLEEP ... then my head was in the dog's mouth, I just don't understand this dog.

ooo off to the litter box, mom needs to buy me some better cat litter, she bought me some of that crappy Tidy Cat, and it doesn't smell as nice in the bathroom as it does when she uses arm n hammer stuff. Ah well, you just can't teach humans anything!
