Arrival Story: I had known that Snip, a cat in the feral colony I care for, had had kittens, but since this was her first litter, I didn't think that they would survive. Three weeks later, we heard mewing under the house. Sadly, Snip had died of an unknown cause and was under there with two kittens. We removed the kittens and fed them what we could, and those two went to live with my older sister who had a cat that had just had a litter. When my mother and step father went to remove Snip to bury her, they found three more kittens. I bottle fed them until they were old enough to eat solid food. Sadly, two of the three died of anemia because of fleas. As soon as I found out why the other two had died, I took Simba to the vet to be treated and get a full checkup. He is now happy and healthy boy!
Bio: Mom got to type the rest of my page, so now it's my turn! I'm a VERY handsome half meezer kit, and I can use my big blue eyes to get out of ANYTHING! When I decide to stretch out across the table (duing meals is the best time) and Mom is about to scold me, I just give her an innocent look with my captivating eyes, and she just gives me a hug instead. Hehe, she's such a sucker! [start touchy-feely part of bio] I'll admit though, I AM a bit of a Momma's boy. Since she handfed me, she and I have a special bond, and we're just about inseperable. [end touchy-feely part of bio] One of my favorite pass times is pestering Little Ma Ma, AKA Ole Grump Butt. She used to hiss at me all of the time and run whenever I came near, but now she tolerates me pretty well. Sometimes she'll even chase me back when I start to run after her. It's progress! I love accompanying my mom into the room with the big water bowl. If she doesn't let me in beforehand, I wait until she is just about to step into the shower before I start fussing wanting in. Momma says one of my best skills is sneaking onto her lap. When she is reading or on the computer, she won't even notice me plopping down onto her lap. She'll just look down and notice me there. I'm not that subtle, am I? Maybe I need new tactics. Maybe I can jump on the back of the chair first, give her a new hair-do, and then jump on her shoulder, knead her neck really hard, and THEN get on her lap. Hmmm...

Today I got my birthday presents from my incredibly GAWGEOUS girlkit, Chey! As you can see in my pics, I LOVE them! She got me two tinkle balls, a can of by Nature canned food (my FAVORITE!), this pop up dog-er, CAT kennel, a card, a picture of her in my box from where she tried to mail herself and Human wouldn't let her (!), a picture of me in the crown she passed down as I enter my terrible twos, a pawsome painting of my incredibly handsome self, a card, a stringy chirpy wand toy, and a blue mat! Thank you SO much Chey- I'm gonna have a blast! But the best birthday gift ever is having you as my soon-to-be wife, and my best friend! Love you Chey, and thanks again! :D

1. My favorite way to wake Mom up in the mornings by attacking her head.
2. My second favorite is by kneading her neck!
3. I make sucking noises when I eat- Mom says it's probably because when she weaned me off my bottle, I didn't want to do it gradually and jumped right onto the kitten food.

5. I know how to sit when Mom tells me to- but she knows how to fetch (food), scratch (chin), and all sorts of other useful tricks!
6. At night, I like to curl up right against the back of Mom's neck.
