I haven't written anything for a long while. Not that there's not alot to tell, Mama just gets so busy with stuff and forgets to type for me.

Well, we are still fostering and volunteering for Kindred Kitties. Going on our 5th year this June. Don't know what the official foster count to date is, but I'm assuming that it's getting close to 500. Right now we are kinda slow with the fosters as we only have 7, but kitten season is fast approaching. We already have some fosters who have Mama kitties who just gave birth. So kittens will be ready for adoption soon.

Hopefully Mama will let me on the computer more so I can tells you about all the wonderful foster babies in the house. Still have ringworm in the house - three of our fosters still have it and two just got over it. We also have 3 beautiful orange kittens who are 4 mos. old. Should be ready for Petco soon after they get over their colds and eye infections. We got the Mama cat back who is on my page after we sent her to the adoption center a couple months ago. She got ringworm and then stopped eating for some reason. She spent a week at the vet who said she had fatty liver, so we are trying to nurse her back to health. Then we got handsome Jaden (Jade) who also has ringworm and has a head tilt from unknown reasons. We have had him since mid Dec. and are waiting for his ringworm to go away since he already has a forever home with a nice man who adopted from us before.

Well, gotta go beat up my sisters. Oreo has a bad thyroid now and has to take medicine, Spooky has a heart murmur, and Mona is licking off all her pretty fur. Bun Bun has some ringworm on her as does Spooky too. I just had some on my head but it went away pretty quick.

Mama updated our foster log last night and realized that one of the 6 kittens we took in on Monday is also our 400th foster!!!
Hip Hip Hooray!!!
We have been fostering for 4 years next month, so we are averaging 100/yr. Sounds like alot, but multiple litters of multiple kittens add up fast. People always freak out when we tell them how many kitties are in the house at any given time (26 right now), but when we explain that most of them are kittens, then it's OK. Or as OK as is gets for most people (crazy cat lady, anyone??).

Well, other than that, we have a Mama and what was a litter of 5 (born in the house) until 2 got adopted on Tues. We have a litter of 4 where 3 of them have 'deformed' back feet. They are turned out a bit instead of being straight. Except for some slipping on the smooth floors, these babies walk (and run) fine. We have a litter of 2 cute little boys who we got 2 wks. ago as 4 wk. olds. We have a litter of 3, and one of them is pre-adopted. The other 2 will go to Petco tomorrow. We have 2 adults - one found outside and one who was being neglected in her home. Then we have the litter of 6, who were trapped under a shed. All are white, although some of them have gray streaks on their heads. They are not real feral, but still hiss and are not thrilled about being held/petted. Another foster has their Mama, but she is not feral at all. She is also white. We couldn't keep their Mama because we already have an adult in the room where the kittens are.

So that's what's happening in Fosterland right now. I could care less. My angle is just trying to get some of the yummy food the babies are getting before Mama catches me.

It's been a long, long time since I've purred. Alot of things have happened in fosterland that I will meow about now.

Well, we are hoping all the ringworm is out of the house now. The last kitten who had it is going to her new home on Wed., and Mama has already cleaned the back bedroom where they all had it. It is probably in the greater house though since more of us residents than just me got it.

We had a couple of firsts recently. We had our first kitten who lost an eye. His name is Binx and he ended up being adopted by a fellow Catster who already had a one eye cat. He is a happy kitty in his new house and has many new "brothers" and "sisters" - both feline and canine. We also had our first leukemia positive kitty. He was found outside and turned into us. We named him Sampson and he was a very handsome tabby/wht with big green eyes. Mama ended up taking him to a sanctuary in Northern WI. where they have other Felv kitties.

Now that last years kittens have been all adopted, we're pretty empty in the house. We have an adult female who was found outside and is not doing so well. She is hardly eating at all, and she is hissing and growling at Mama, and her skin rolls up and down her back when Mama is in there with her. Mama may take her to the vet this week to see what is wrong with her. We also have a kitty who just gave birth on Wed. to 5 beautiful babies. She was trapped outside but is very sweet. She growls a little at Mama, but Mama can pet her and she will usually start purring. We can't wait until the babies are old enough to start walking around and interacting. Mama just LOVES little babies.

We are fast comming up on a milestone. We have fostered almost 400 cats and kittens!! I will meow when we hit that mark. Mama has also been fostering for almost 4 years. Where does the time go!! Seems like yesterday I was being fostered by Mama and now almost 400 other kitties have come and gone.

Well, that just made me feel old and tired, so I am going to take a nap now.

Those darn foster kitties gave me the ringworm!! They have had it for 7-8 wks. now so Mama thought it probably wasn't contagious anymore. But I guess the incubation time is 2-4 wks. So Mama looked at me the other day and noticed a big circle on my ear that wasn't there the day before. It's like it all just fell off at once. Mama is not happy. She is locking me up at night with the babies that have it, but then she lets us out in the morning. She knows it is wrong, but it is hard to keep us locked up 24/7. She also just got done deep cleaning the computer room where we are locked in, but now has to think about the WHOLE house as I am everywhere. She is not happy!!!

Me, I just don't like the stuff put on my ear, otherwise it doesn't bother me at all.

I haven't written in a whole long time, and I have no real excuse. Foster kittens have come and gone, and I haven't mentioned any of them. Mama has even given up on taking pictures of them cause we've had so many and been so busy. I think we are down to 14 fosters right now, and that's only because we had 6 (!) adopted at Petco this weekend. The kittens just keep comming and everyday we have multiple requests to take adult cats. We are way too full right now and are dealing with ringworm at our adoption center and our main foster's house. In fact, we even have 3 kittens with it at our house, even though one of them got adopted this weekend. Mama was bragging to everyone how we've never had fosters with ringworm, and 2 weeks later we did. So far Mama hasn't gotten it on her and none of us "permanent" residents have it either.
Otherwise we have foster kitties ranging from 2 adult Mamas to a single 6 wk. old kitten. She is very upset at being in a cage by herself, and has escaped many times. Mama had to put a board on the top of the cage so she doesn't get through the bars. She is a brillant orange tabby and Mama is probably going to name her Fireball. The oldest kitten is 4 1/2 mos. and his name is Fenway. He is almost over the ringworm and is getting neutered tomorrow. He is such a sweet boy that Mama doesn't think he will last long when he is ready.
And Me, not a whole lot going on with me. My sister Mona has a big patch of fur missing on her face and a bunch of bumps on her side, and Mama is blaming it on me. At first she thought the bumps might be the ringworm, but then she saw the bloody patch where the fur is missing. I'm not talking. Also, my group Foster Families Forever has taken off and is going very well. We are making new friends everyday.
Hopefully I will write again soon instead of taking so long.

Mama took in 9 little ones on Tues., a litter of 5 and a litter of 4. That puts our foster number at 28. Including us five residences, that 33 kitties in the house!! Our last record was 27, which we hit twice last year.

So Mama has been busy, busy, busy, scooping and sweeping and feeding and watering and medicating and hugging and kissing and socializing. Mama just has to learn to keep quiet when she has an empty condo for the fosters.

Mama is hoping some go at Petco this weekend. Mama has been taking Buckwheat and Alfalfa for almost 2 mos. now with no luck. And they are such sweet little boys. They got neutered on Tues., so that should make them more adoptable. Mama may or may not take 2 others that went last weekend cause they have URI and watery eyes.
Mama also is taking the litter of 5 from the basement and probably some of the 6 from the spare bedroom. The new ones need another shot before they can go. That's another 3 weeks.

So here's to crazy Mama and the zoo that is our house!!

Just one look at our house and you can tell that it's kitten season. Never mind the calendar.

The only kittens we still have from my last post is Alfalfa and Buckwheat, Darla's brothers. They keep getting passed over at Petco for the younger ones and the more colorful ones. Mama is hoping they are adopted together, but usually it doesn't happen that way.

More good news, Lelo finally got adopted!!! Mama is going to call the lady and see how Lelo is doing. The lady lived alone and had no other pets, so that should be good for Lelo.

In the house we have two Mama cats - one with 5 kittens and one with 6. They are all going on about 5 wks. old. We also have 2 - 7 wk. old girls who were found outside, but not together. We have a mostly white kitten who is 4 mos. old already and who just got neutered. He is a little pistol. His owners probably never taught him kitty manners. We also have a little 3 mo. old girl who was trapped outside. She is real friendly but is foot shy. Mama may name her Sweet Tart.
Including us residents, that's 26 kitties in the house!!!

Well, gotta go. Hope Mama has Good Luck at Petco this weekend cause these kittens are starting to annoy me!!

Mama was updating her records last week and discovered she has fostered exactely 300 kitties in the past 3 yrs.!!! She is so excited. Her 300th kitty is a little girl named Darla who came in with her 3 brothers. They should have went to Petco this past weekend, but one brother was sick. He is better now and they will go this weekend.

We still have Tarzan in the house, who is small but seems better. He is also eating kibble now. Mama was worried he may have had FIP, but is not so sure now. She may take him to Petco this weekend.

We have the little brother and sister we got 5 wks. ago. They are pretty tiny, but may go to Petco this weekend. Mama named them Hansel and Gretel.

We also have two little ones who are now 6-7 wks. old. They were found outside in someone's yard. They assumed the Mama was the dead cat they found by the road. We named them Rosebud and Suede.

Everyone else has been adopted or returned (Grumpy) except for Jazmine and Lelo who are at the Cat Store. Poor Lelo. We have had her a year now. Mama e-mailed the lady who adopted 2 of her CH boys and they are doing well. She sent pictures and they are SO big now.

Well, that's all for now. Not too many kitties for the middle of kitten season, but Mama is actually happy about that. I am just too busy trying to get a little attention from Mama now and then.

Oh, I haven't written in so long that I don't even know what is going on.

We still have Ms. Jazmine, but her boy, Jazpurr, got adopted a couple weeks ago. He fractured his leg, so we had him alot longer than normal. He also had a hernia that got repaired when he got neutered.

We still have Mia and her babies, except one died at six weeks. She still has 2 though, cause we gave her an orphan at 4 weeks. They were both sick, so Mama has had them longer. She is hoping they go to Petco next weekend.

We have a cat Mama named Grumpy, cause she is feral, and she came in with 5 - 1 wk. old babies. Well, they are now 9 wks. and 3 of them were adopted this weekend. Which leaves us with the 2 shy ones who Mama will work with for another week.

We have Tarzan who we have had for about 5-6 wks. now. He is just a little guy, and he is growing very slow. He refuses to eat kibble, so Mama has been having to feed him can food. Mama really likes him, and will keep him as long as she has to, but not forever.

Mama also got 3 kitties from the store that didn't look too good, so she took them in and nursed them back to health. The two smaller girls got adopted this weekend, and the older boy is still with us. Mama is going to get him neutered in a couple weeks to make him more adoptable. He is black so alot of people overlook him.

Last, but not least, Mama got 2 little 4 1/2 wks. old last Tues. They were born in a garage and their Mama was found outside dead. They are a little boy and a girl, and they are so cute. They have been eating alot and Mama just put them in a larger cage yesterday. They were so happy that they played with toys and wrestled and chased each other.

Me, I'm the same. I love to irritate my Mama and my sisters all the time, but they love me anyways.

Kitten Season is comming, and we have the kittens to prove it. But let me back up a little and tell everyone what's been going on.
The Mama in the basement, Claudia, got fixed and went to Carolyn's a couple weeks ago to be evaluated. Her three boys finally grew up enough to be adopted. They didn't go together, but they all had company to play with when they got to their new homes.
Tawny went to Carolyn's too. She is slated to go to a farm along with 3 other kitties who are shy like her. Mama feels bad she wasn't able to tame her enough to be adopted. She also feels bad that she couldn't just keep her. The Man would have had a fit, and Mama knows she really shouldn't be keeping anymore.
Lelo actually went to the store on Wed. with Mama. Mama was sad to see her go since she's had her since last July, but Lelo was so hard to place since she didn't like other cats. She is in a cage at the store, and Mama hopes she starts to get along good enough to come out during the day.
We have a new Mama in the basement now. Her name is Mia, and she is a cute little Calico/Tabby. She came in pregnant, and popped almost three weeks later. Of course it was at 1 in the morning when Mama came home from the bowling alley. She sat up with Mia until 4 a.m. in the bathroom, and then she fell asleep on the bathroom floor for an hour. Mia had two live babies, one stillborn, and one fetus about an inch long. Mama was worried about her babies since she got the live distemper shot instead of the killed one, but so far so good. If not, they will probably have CH like Lelo's babies. They will be 2 wks. old tomorrow.
We also got the Mama with the little 5 wk. old. Her name is Jazmine and Mama named her baby Jazpurr. He is now 11 wks. old and has a couple of problems. First off, he has a hernia that Mama didn't see until he was about 7 wks. That should be easily fixed when he is fixed. Then a couple Weds. ago he came out of his room limping in the morning. Mama took him to the vet this past Mon. and they found that he has a fracture!! It is in a bad place so they couldn't pin it, but they think it will heal just fine on it's own. He has a soft cast which hasn't slowed him down a bit. He is real cute, but doesn't like to be picked up much or held. He just screams his little head off when someone tries to do that.
Not much is new with us residents. My birthday is next week and I will be 3!!
I hope I get lots of presents and tuna, tuna, tuna!!

It's been pretty quiet lately in fosterland. It is not kitten season right now, so things are pretty slow.
Let's see where I left off.
Sparkle went to the cat store and got adopted!! We still have Lelo, Tawny, and the Mama in the basement with the babies. We lost one, though, only 3 days after we got them. The other three look healthy, even though we have an obvious runt. They are already 6 wks. old, and should be adoptable in 3 wks.
They are all boys, and like to play like boys too. Their Mama is kind of a Sybil. She is nice but likes to bite sometimes. She gets nervious when Mama makes sudden movements or loud noises. She is a good Mama though.
Mama also got a little 3 1/2 mo. old named Winnie from another foster. The reason she got her was because she was sick. Well, Winnie spent a night at the vet, who wasn't sure what was wrong with her. Mama force fed her and sub-qued her, and kept her on a heating pad for a week. Winnie didn't make it in the end, and her final diagnosis was FIP. Such a nasty disease!! Mama was VERY sad that she didn't make it because she was SO sweet.
I also heard rumors that we are going to get another Mama with a 4 (?) wk. old baby next week. Mama is going to have to put her in the computer room with Tawny. Hopefully she doesn't mind.
As for me, I just got over a cold that I gave to Spooky and now Bun Bun has it. And Mama says I don't share!! I also have rekindled my passion for retrieving my rattle mouse. I have trained "the man" to reach over and get it for me, instead of just bringing it straight to him. And they say humans aren't trainable!! MOL.

Until last night, we only had Lelo, Sparkle, Tawny, and a little single baby in the house. Then Mama went out and brought home a Mama with 4 little newborns!! She spend alot of time in there with her too. Sparkle and I wanted to go in and look, but Mama said no. Oh well, I suppose we'll meet them soon enough.

As alot of kitties already know, Mama had a cat named Ms. Tortie in the house for a week before she went to the bridge. Ms. Tortie was part of Mama's TNR project last year, but she was never returned because she was tameable. She spent part of her time in foster, and part at the adoption center. She always laid in the round part of a cat tree in the big storefront window. She didn't like to be picked up, but she sure liked to be petted. She would stick her little tongue out and purr. Once she even rubbed Mama on the face. She found a home, very briefly, but they returned her because she hid in the basement. They just didn't keep her corraled like we told them, until she go used to the new house.

Then the volunteers noticed Ms. Tortie had lost alot of weight. It was hard to see it at first cause she was a longhair. The vet said she was probably in liver failure and wouldn't last very long. The vet wanted to send her to the bridge. Mama went out and got her instead and brought her home. The vet said she wasn't in pain, and Mama wanted her to have a home life with someone who loved and paid alot of attention to her before she went to the bridge. Ms. Tortie passed away on 12-27, sleeping in bed with Mama. Mama was glad she had that little time with Ms. Tortie, and Ms. Tortie seemed happy too. Mama wants to thank everyone who expressed concern for Ms. Tortie and Mama while she was sick and after she passed. What a wonderful group of kitties here on Catster!!

Well, I think I'll go torture one of my sisters now. But not Bun Bun cause she got fixed yesterday.

Well, we have had a bunch of adoptions lately and a few new kitties.

Yahtzee in the basement got adopted yesterday. She went to a home with two little dogs, so Mama is holding her breath cause she thinks she'll be back.
Little Screech got adopted. He was such a nice boy and such a purrface.
Two of the three black kitties Mama had got adopted. Also, the black and white one did too. But the biggest news of all is that her three CH boys got adopted. The first one that went was the tuxedo, Lucky Ducky. He went to a home with a doggie, and he is doing great. In fact, he has his own page on Catster ID #664466. His name is now Stewie. The other two, Lucky Horseshoe and Charm went together to a nice lady in Illinois. She named them Jack and Bobby after the Kennedys, and they are doing fine. Mama was very sad for a couple days after they left, but she is mostly over it now.

Mama still has their Mama, Lelo, as well as the Baby Tabby who she just adores and the shy girl whose brother died. The shy girl, named Tawny, is stuck at the same point. She will let Mama hold her and even seems to enjoy it, but she hisses at Mama when she is in her cage. Mama doesn't think she is ever going to get her social enough to be adopted. Mama also got a little family last week of a Mama and 2 kittens. She named the Mama Sparkle, and she is just super sweet and gets along with the other cats. The kittens she named Shimmer and Sterling. She is going to take them to Petco this next weekend. Mama also got a single tabby kitten last week that she hasn't named yet. She is nice but is a little shy.

That's about all that's going on. Kitten season is about over, so it is going to be slow for awhile. That's OK, cause that just means we will get Mama all to ourselves for awhile :) :) :)

Not alot going on in fosterland right now. Four of the six babies in the basement got adopted at Petco, and the other two went to the store. One of those got adopted last Friday. The Mama cat, named Yahtzee, wasn't feeling so good lately, but now she is better. She is going to be spayed next week and then Mama is going to look for a home for her.

Two of the four black girls we had got adopted and the other two went to the store. They are still there, waiting for homes. Mama is going to take the other three black babies and the blk/wht one to Petco next weekend.

Mama still has Lelo and her three CH boys. She has been taking them to Petco and they are also on Petfinder. They are just so precious. Mama wishes she could keep one or more of them, but she knows she has her limit now. Maybe she will put up a adoption page for them here on Catster. That would be wonderful!!

Mama also got two semi-feral 4 mo. olds that someone trapped in their backyard. Mama still has the girl, but the boy passed away after a week and a half. Mama was just devestated. She sat in the bathroom with him trying to keep him alive, then she sat there bawling and holding him when he died. He is probably the biggest kitten we have ever lost. It was just so sad. :( :(

Mama also has a 6 mo. old black boy named after my sister Spooky, and a 4 mo. old orange/wht. she renamed Screech since he is so vocal. Screech had a brother, but he got adopted last weekend. Oh, and we have a little 6 wk. old that Mama didn't name cause the people who found him may take him back. He is a little tabby, and there is nothing wrong with his lungs either. Mama wraps him up in a little towel and carries him around with her when she is home. Then he screams when she puts him back in his cage cause he is all by himself. He won't eat any solid food either even though he ate can food the day we got him. Mama has to mix up baby kitten milk for him. Hrumph!! I bet he would eat can food if he got hungry enough.

It's been awhile since I've written, so I'm afraid the moment is gone, but about two weeks ago we had 27 kitties in the house!!! Mama was just going nuts!! But some have been adopted, a couple went to the cat store, and we have new ones in their place.

Well, to start with, Miss Sara and her little runt baby did get adopted by the nice man who came to look at them. He even took them to the vet first to see if they were healthy. Mama heard back from him last week, and they are doing real good.

Two of Lelo's babies got adopted together last week, and the other three (all boys) have CH. Two have a mild case and one has a moderate case. They are all happy boys, and they don't seem to notice they are handicapped. Mama is going to put them up for adoption soon.

Everyone in the office got adopted except for Tabu and Magnolia who went to the cat store. In their places we got 3 little black kittens who are probably Tabu's half siblings, since they came from the same trailer park. They are older but so tiny. They are just growing so slow. We also got a little single boy kitten from under someone's porch, and four black girls who were left in a carrier outside a boarding home downtown. In the basement we have a Mama and six babies, and the babies are going to Petco this weekend. They had an alcoholic owner who got sent to jail or rehab or something, so we ended up with the Mama and babies. We named them all after board games.

That's about all that's exciting lately. I'm still busy with my group, foster families forever, and we are getting alot of new members all the time.
Well, gotta nap now so I can bug Mama all night.

Nobody has been moving out of the house lately. In the basement we still have Sarafina and her little runt baby who is already 4 mos. old and is sooo tiny. Mama took Sara to Petco, and then a man came to the house to look at her. He said last weekend he was going to take her and the runt baby (Little Man), but he hasn't called Mama. So she don't know what's going on there.

The back bedroom has Lelo and her family of five. They are 7 wks. old already!! My how time flies. They will be going for adoption in 2 wks. Mama thinks she has found a home for the only girl already. She gave them all names that started with "Lucky" since they were born on 7-7-07.

The office has a mixture of babies. Tabu has been with us the longest (middle of May). We also have her sister Zorra, two prairie kitties, Magnolia and Maple, little Freya and Whistler. Then Mama got a little orange guy cause an aquaintance turned him into the Humane Society for biting. He supposidly was in the middle of the road where a guy found him and turned him into the police dept. where this lady works. Mama is trying to work with him to get him to stop biting. He's not trying to be mean - he is just touchy.

This weekend Mama and Trish are going to Family Video to show off kitties . They are having a raffle for us, and wanted us to bring kitties for adoption. The ones from the office are going today, and them some smaller kittens and some from the office will go tomorrow. Mama hopes someone gets adopted cause she doesn't want to start taking kitties to the kitty store. She feels they have their best shot with her and at Petco.

Me - I have just been busy with my group "Foster Families Forever." We are getting bigger and bigger every day. I also still like getting into trouble and snacking my sisters around. Well, gotta go take that late morning nap now.

So much has happened since I wrote last!! Sabu, Inca, and 7 of the 8 babies from the basement got adopted. We just have the Mama, Sarafina, and her runt left in the basement. He is not so good :( :( He is very thin and bony, and probably hasn't grown at all since Mama got him. Now he has a cold again too. Mama still isn't sure if he will make it, and he is about 12 wks. old already.
Mama did get a pregnant one named Lelo, and she gave birth to 5 beautiful babies on 7-7-07. Now she just has to think of lucky names for them. Mama also has 4 bigger kittens who were part of 15 that were dumped on a prairie on Lake Michigan. It is just so sad!! Four of the 15 already have homes, but 11 more still need to go. Mama also got a 4 wk. old boy and a 6 wk. old girl from a private home where they were being given away already!!! Carolyn left Petco and went running over there once she heard, and they let her buy the last two. Mama also got one yesterday at the store who is about 6 wks. old. The ladys daughter brought it home, the lady said No, and then the people wouldn't take it back. It is a little black girl with stray white hairs. Mama put her in with the 2 other small ones, even though she is not suppose to do that. Mama just felt so sorry for her cause she was crying and tearing up her cage.
I have been busy trying to manage my catster group and terrorizing my sisters and such. It's a wonder I manage to get any naps in....

Mama has been so busy now with kitten season and managing her new group "FOSTER FAMILIES FOREVER" that she has so very little time for anything. Sometimes we just have to all sit on her and pin her down when she finally sits down for awhile.
Since last time I wrote, Robin, Sparrow and India all got adopted. Mama is finally going to take little Tabu and Sabu to Petco this weekend, along with Inca and some of the 8 babies from the basement. Mama also may take the new girl, Zorra, who may be Tabu and Sabu's sister. She was running around outside the same trailer park. The three little ones Mama named Thelma, Louise, and Melvin, and they are doing well. Mama thinks they are Tabu and Sabu's half siblings. They came from the same place, and little Melvin looks just like them. Same fur, same color, same texture.
Mama is also suppose to get a pregnant one on her way home from work tonight. She has to go upstairs in the back bedroom, and Mama has a feeling she's not going to like it. She is an indoor/outdoor kitty, and now she will have to be in a cage for awhile. We'll see how that goes...

I started a group for foster families and those who work at shelter or vet's offices. It's called FOSTER FAMILIES FOREVER and I am trying to get more people to join. It would just be so nice to compare stories and share advice and stuff. So if you're reading this and you foster, please join!!
Well, Kitty update: Little Tasha got adopted last weekend at Petco. The eight babies in the basement are doing good now, but five of them threw up and were lethargic/wouldn't eat for about 3-4 days. Mama was so scared it was distemper and they were all going to die. But they all seem to be better now, and maybe will go to Petco in a couple weeks or so.
Mama got two kitties that needed socialization, and they are doing fine. They are 2 little B/W girls named Inca and India. Then Mama got 2 boys that were dropped off at Petco in a birdcage that she named Robin and Sparrow. They are a little older - maybe 12 wks. They are in the office with the girls getting in trouble and destroying things. Little Sabu has finally gained some weight, and he and his sister have the run of the house when Mama is home. They will probably go to Petco next weekend. Then Mama got 4 more kittens from the same trailer park as them. The runt died the first night Mama had them. They were born outside and the lady kept them in her shed while the Mama came and went caring for them. The Mama is wild so the lady can't catch her. Well, the lady brought them in for their first distemper shots, and Mama decided she should take them home and finish fostering them. The kitty Mama wasn't taking care of them anymore.
So the GRAND TOTAL IN THE HOUSE IS NOW 24 and WAS 25!!! That is a new record for us. The previous one was 23 and we hit that one twice. All I have to say about that is Mama is CRAZY!! And of course, it is officially Kitten Season.
Well, Mama will be home soon so we have to line up in the kitchen to greet her.

Well, first I'd like to start with the recent adoptions. Little Bratface, Tango and Cash, and "Kitty" the Mama all got adopted at Petco this weekend. Mama was just thrilled beyond belief. We are right in the middle of "Kitten Season", and the kittens are comming out of the woodwork. So Mama was just estatic that "Kitty" found a home. She is going to be the only cat in the house, which is best since she didn't really like the rest of us.
The kitten that I wrote about last time died. Mama lost all three of them. She was so sad. The two blackies 4444444444444444444444444444444444444
(one of them just typed that) that Mama got from the trailer park are a little mixed bag. The boy, Sabu, is not gaining weight and Mama is trying to figure why. He is real whinny and doesn't like to play alot. His sister seems OK, but Mama thinks she should be growing faster. Her name is Tabu. Mama also got a little single kitten from a trailer park named Tasha. She is real cute, and should be going to Petco this weekend.
Two weeks ago Mama also rescued a Mama out of a garage along with her eight (!!!) babies. They are all tabbies, and they all had varying degrees of URI. Now some of them have started throwing up, and Mama was scared it was Distemper. But it seems to be a 48 hr. flu or something. So Mama has her fingers crossed that it is not anything serious and everyone is going to pull through and be OK.
Tonight Mama is suppose to get a couple more babies that need to be socialized a little bit. So she is just busy, busy, busy with the babies.
Me, I am just busy terrorizing my sisters and trying to get Mama's attention(and the food off her plate).
Well, gotta nap now.

Well, I'ts been awhile since I've written and alot of bad and good things happened.

First, the babies in the basement all got adopted, except the last baby left of Gray Mama's died. Gray Mama got spayed and went back to the hoarder. Little Zinger, who had the bad back legs, went to the vet and got diagnosed with C.H. Mama is not sure that's what he has though. The nice man who adopted him and his brother still wanted him even after the diagnosis. God bless him!!

Little Scrappy found a home too. Her Mama "Kitty" got spayed and is waiting to go to the store. Mama is probably going to try her at Petco this weekend.

Two of the kittens Mama got from the trailer park died - the little girl and the little runt. The other 2 were sick with diarrhea and losing weight, but Mama got it under control. They will probably go to Petco in 3 wks. or so, or when Mama thinks they are all better.

Mama got 3 more kittens from a different trailer park. (What is up with trailer parks and cats???) One came in by himself, and he is sooooo cute. Mama named him Bratface. The lady said some little boy was trying to sell him door to door for $20. So she took him away and brought him to the Kitty store. The other 2 were brought in by the same lady a week later, but Mama thinks they are from a different litter.

Mama also got 3 beautiful kittens from someone who dropped them off at Petco, but she has already lost 2 of them and she thinks the 3rd isn't going to make it either. It is just so sad for Mama. She held both of them while they died, and just bawled her eyes out.

Oh, and Mama is boarding a kitty for someone who is in the service and is at training. Her name is Sahara and she is a kitty that Mama rescued last summer from under a shed with her4 siblings. She is a tortie, and Mama thinks she is soooo sweet. I have tried to harrass her, but she is pretty good at ignoring me.

Well, that's about all going on in Foster Kitty Land. Gotta go take a nap.

Mama took her three little girls to Petco this weekend. She named them Eclipse, Mona, and Bugsy. They were a little sick last weekend, so Mama had to wait. Eclipse and Bugsy got adopted together, and Mona went to a house with no other critters. Mama was happy that they got adopted so quick.

Everyone in the basement is stable at the moment. Calico Mama got spayed on Thurs. and went back to the cat hoarder. Mama was sad cause she thought her group should have kept Calico Mama. Gray Mama will probably get done this week. Mama was going to keep Gray Mama so she could mother the babies, but Gray Mama is getting a little too protective of the babies. So she will probably go back to the hoarder. Three of the five babies are ready to be adopted, but two of them got goopy eyes right before the weekend. One baby is walking funny, and Mama is wondering what is wrong with his back legs. He is OK otherwise. The little one is just not right. Mama can't put her finger on it, but he is just not right.

Kitty an Scrappy are fine. Scrappy was old enough to be adopted last weekend, but she is so small that Mama decided to keep her another weekend. She should go this weekend. Mama also got 4 new babies this past Tues. They are longhair tabbies, 3 boys and 1 girl. They came from a trailer park, and the lady who found them was trying to trap the Mama using the babies as bait, but the Mama snatched one baby and ran. So my Mama went out with a trap and trapped her, but they couldn't find the baby. So my Mama had to let her go. The babies are about 5 wks. old, and seem pretty healthy. The little girl and the runt are kinda thin though. Mama may just start them on some preventative medicine.

That's about all. Mama is waiting for Bun Bun to go into heat again before she spays her. Mama is just afraid that Bun Bun might get sick after the surgery, after everything she went through as a kitten.

I haven't written in awhile, but I don't have much to report but sadness.
Kitty's baby Henrietta and the Orphan Annie both died this past Fri. Mama has no idea what happened. Looked like distemper, but Mama doesn't know where it came from or why Scrappy the Runt is still OK.
Out of all the babies in the basement, The Gray Mama only has one left and one of the Calico Mama's died too. Those were probably more due to upper resp/pneumonia. Mama is worried about another one of the Calico Mama's. She has been giving him lots of medicine and nebulizing him. She also had to force feed him for a few days. Mama was sure this year was going to be different with the kitties, but it sure is not. It is so hard to watch them died, esp. after you struggled to keep them alive.
The happiest news in the house is probably that Mama got three little pretty girls three weeks ago, and they will be going to Petco this weekend, barring any illnesses. They are real playful, cute and friendly. Mama just hopes they stay healthy the rest of the week.
My Birthday was last week and Mama didn't even know. She knew Bun Bun's birthday, but missed Mona Lisa's. I know Spooky and Oreo's are comming up soon. Bun Bun may be in heat too. She is a year and a month old, so it would be about time considering what's she's gone through.
Well, gotta go get a good nap in before Mama comes home.

Well, everything in the house is crazy again. Mama found a home for Pippi, and Fluffy went to the store this past Tues. But now Mama has three Mama's with babies.
I already wrote about Kitty and her two babies, except now she has three. Someone found a little orphan on their porch, and they gave it to my Mama to give to Kitty. She took care of her right away. She is a little black and white girl, a little more than two weeks old now. The other two are good. The bigger one is twice the size of the little one though. But they are both starting to eat solid food and using the litter box. The orphan is always hungry. Mama sometimes gives her a bottle when she is real hungry.
Last night Mama got two Mama's with their babies from the house of the cat hoarder that she got the black and orange ones from. The one Mama is a muted Calico and she has five babies. They are about 6 weeks old. They all have bad eyes and one has a cold. The other Mama is solid gray and she has four babies. They are about four weeks old and they all came in with their eyes glued shut. Mama got them open with a warm, wet rag and put cream in them, but they were shut again this a.m. The gray Mama is scared and not too friendly, so Mama has her locked in a kitty condo. The other one is OK. Except when I went in there to say Hello and she attacked me. Boy!! I won't ever try that again!! Too many Mommy hormones in the house.
Well, that's about all. Auntie Trish is comming this weekend to cat-sit us. Yeah!! Lots of can food for everyone!!

Mama has sad news again. One of kitty's little babies died Sat. afternoon. Mama noticed he was real weak in the morning, and she tried to warm him up and bottle feed him, but he wasn't having any of it. She had to go to Petco, so she decided to leave him in with his Mama instead of separating him. Well, when she got home he was gone. Kitty has two babies left. One is real big and he just eats and sleeps. He barely raises a fuss when Mama picks him up. The other one is much smaller, and he was pretty restless until yesterday or so. Mama was real worried about him. She is hoping any cat that reads this could send up a prayer that the little family stays healthy and happy.
On a happier note, Mama adopted out all her kittens this weekend, and also Twyla. Her rescue group adopted 7 adults and 5 kittens at Petco in all. That is a awesome number of adults in one weekend. Mama is so happy about that.
She took Pippi on Sun., but no such luck. Pippi will probably go to the store next week. Mama is now letting Fluffy out of her room more, and Fluffy will probably be going soon too. Then Mama has to clean out her bedrooms and get ready for kitten season. Judging by what she's seen so far, it's probably going to be a bad one.
Well, gotta go nap now. Or maybe annoy my sisters.

Mama brought 3 kitties home from the cat store on Tues. Two of them are 10 wks. old today, little wideband tabby boys. They are super healthy, so they are probably going to Petco tomorrow. The other one was a year old light gray tabby, and she came in pregnant. Well, last night (or rather early this a.m.) she had her babies. The first one was stillborn. Mama thinks she was in labor too long before he came out. But then she had 3 more. They look like 2 gray/whites and one gray. Mama didn't get to bed until 2 a.m. She is real tired today. She probably won't be up for any of my misbehavior when she gets home from work.
Mama is also planning on taking the other two kittens to Petco tomorrow. She may even take Pippi or Twyla too. Mama is just getting too full with kitties. Otherwise they may go to the store soon.
Well, gotta go and practice behaving.

It is not kitten season right now, so Mama just has the four she got 3 weeks ago. They are doing lots better, and the lady who had them is starting to spay and neuter the rest of them. So that's good news. Mama heard she has about 20 of them. She has 2 more Mama's with babies.
Two of the kittens are getting adopted tonight. A black one Mama named Stinky and an orange one named Pidgey. That leaves a black one named Monkey and an orange one named Bubbie. Bubbie has a little white spot on his eye, so Mama is going to see if that goes away before she takes them to Petco.
The kitty Mama got that she thought was pregnant is not, so she was "fixed" this past Thurs. Her name is Twyla and she will probably end up going to the store. Mama also still has the Mama from the basement, Pippi. Pippi got fixed 2 Thurs. ago and will either be going to the store or back to her original people. Mama still has Fluffy too. Fluffy should be going somewhere soon. Mama can't do much more for her cause she needs to socialize with more people.
Mama has been yelling at me alot lately, and I don't know why. I know it's not because I smack my sisters, or run into rooms and jump in cages I am not suppose to be in, or beg off Mama's plate, or get in Mama's way when she is trying to do something. Or my all time favorite - PICKING IN THE GARBAGE.
Well, Mama will be home soon, so gotta go.

Mama is not mad at me - at least not all the time - but she is mad cause she got 4 kittens from some lady who gives her rescue group kittens sometimes, but these kittens are in bad shape. They have colds, eye infections, filthy ears, big bellies, and they all stink like pee pee and dirt. The lady refuses to get the Mama's fixed too. Mama wishes there was an Animal Cops Kenosha cause she would turn the lady in and make her pay. Mama is giving the babies medicine and she cleaned their ears. Tonight she is going to give them a little sponge bath to make them smell better. Mama just doesn't understand how someone could keep little kittens in such bad conditions.
Mama was sad this past Wed. cause one of her orange girls died. She was in the office on the chair and she was hyperventilating and panting with her tongue out. Mama scooped her up and rushed her to the vet, but she died on the way there. They thought maybe she had developed pneumonia, but they did an autopsy and didn't really see it. So they are sending tissue samples to the lab to see what happened. The other two girls are feeling much better and may be going to Petco soon. Mama really likes one of them cause she is naughty and likes to bite faces. She is not being mean, she just is giving kisses. Mama is trying to break her of it, but she is a real stubborn kitty. She whines alot and follows Mama around until she picks her up. Mama is really going to miss them when they are gone.
Mama got another kitty that may be pregnant. She has her in the back bedroom with Fluffy, and they seen to get along OK. Mama is probably naming her Twila, and she is a solid gray good sized kitty. I will write more when she either has those babies or Mama gives up.
Speaking of babies, all Mama's babies from the basement are gone. Three of them got adopted from the house, and the last one from Petco this weekend. The Mama, named Pippi, is now roaming loose around the house until she can go to the V-E-T to be "fixed." She doesn't like me. She really doesn't like anyone. Mama really likes her. Says she is the friendliest adult kitty she ever fostered. Yeah, she sucks up real good to Mama.
Bun Bun went to the V-E-T Sat. for her rabies shot. She is 10 1/2 mos. old and weighs 4.7 lbs. She is gaining weight slowly but surely, and she hasn't had no bad poop for months. She doesn't like me cause sometimes I pin her down and bite her until she cries. Mama gets so mad, but I just can't help myself. I am King of the House and everyone needs to be reminded all the time.
Well, gotta go throw my weight around.

It's the middle of January, and so far, so good with all the kitties in the house.
Since I wrote last the three teenage girls got fixed and went to the store and got adopted. Wolfie got adopted at Petco. The three orange girls have got a bad kitty cold so they are still with us. They just won't get better. Mama thinks these kitties get sick so they don't have to leave. The babies in the basement are now 7 weeks old. One of them is already on hold and some people are comming tonight to look at another one. Mama still has Fluffy. She is getting better about being scared, but she only will come to Mama right now. Mama is going to take her to the store soon where she will get attention from all kinds of people.
I have been pretty good. Every once in a while I attack one of the girls for no reason. Mama gets real mad. And I have been scratching on the bottom of Mama's mattress while Mama is in bed. She just screams at me and I run. It is good fun.

With the comming of the New Year, Mama is hoping this year all her foster kitties survive and thrive. Last year wasn't always a good year for them.
Well, Tipsy got taken to IL. and got adopted. Mama took Gus Gus and Freckles to Petco on X-Mas Eve, and they got adopted together. They were a X-Mas present for the lady's 7 year old. Mama is planning on taking Wolfie (the single kitty she's had for several weeks) to Petco this weekend. She was sick with diarrhea, but is better now. Beulah's new Mommy came and got her two days after X-Mas. Her new name is Annie. Mama also got 5 half grown kitties a couple weeks ago. The two boys were already neutered and adopted at Petco last weekend. The three girls got spayed on Thurs. They are going to the store this Tues. Mama also got three little orange girl kitties last weekend. They are so cute, but are so full of energy. Mama has them in a cage, but puts them in the bathroom for exercise. Well, they have unrolled all the TP, knocked all the stuff off the counters, broke a glass, tipped over the wastebasket and toliet brush. They are so full of energy. Mama is going to get them tested this weekend so they can come out of their cage. The Mama in the basement and her babies are doing good. They are 4 1/2 weeks old and are starting to run around and get into stuff. Mama is trying to get them to use the litterbox now. She caught one of the girls peeing on the carpet yesterday. There are two boys and two girls. Mama hasn't thought up names yet.
I've been pretty naughty lately. Mama has been threating to take me to Petco. As if!! I know Mama loves me and would never give me up. I just have to keep her on her toes.

Well, Mama decided on an artificial tree. I've never seen a X-mas tree before, but I've been a pretty good boy with it so far. Beulah has climbed it at least 5 times Mama knows of. Mama took Beretta, Tipsy and Beulah to the store a couple Tuesdays ago, and Beretta got adopted and Beulah got adopted, but Beulah's new Mom can't take her until after X-mas. So Mama brought her back to the house and now she is climbing the tree. Mama got a single kitten that someone dropped off at Petco, and she hasn't named her yet. She is cute but is real whinny. Then she brought 2 more home that were already adopted and returned sick. They are named Freckles and Gus Gus, and they are almost better. The Mama in the basement had her babies a couple weeks ago. Three didn't make it though - two of them were underdeveloped. But she has 4 that seem healthy and happy so far. Mama still has Fluffy. Fluffy is real sweet with Mama but is scared of everyone else. Mama hopes to get her over that so she can be adopted. Oreo had to have a blood test yesterday for Felv/Fiv since she came home with that wound. Her test was negative so now I can torture her somemore when Mama isn't looking. Well, that's all that's exciting around here lately. Now I shall go nap.

Well, it's almost X mas time and Mama has to decide pretty soon whether we are going to have a tree or not. Last year we didn't have one cause Mama was afraid I would destroy it. Now we have foster kitties in the house that will probably destroy it too. Tipsy and Beretta are still with us cause they have a cold. Mama loves them but is hoping to get them out soon. Beulah went to the vet cause she is so small and Mama was concerned something was wrong with her. The vet said she was OK as far as he could tell. So she will go up for adoption soon too. Mama took Lucy B., Candy Corn, and Peanut Brittle to Petco Sat. and all of them got adopted. Lucy B. and Candy Corn went together. Little Ringer was adopted from the store also, so Mama just has Alana down there now. Poor Alana doesn't like it there either. She hides in the back and doesn't like to be petted much. Mama got a new pregnant one too on Wed. She may name her Pippi, as in Longstockings. She is real friendly. She has already had two litters of kittens. She had 7 the first time and 9 the second time. Mama talked to her and said no more than 6 this time. Mama isn't sure when she is gonna have them yet. Probably not for a couple weeks or more. Mama also has Fluffy still. She just doesn't want to get better. Mama is going to put her up for adoption when she gets better cause she is really sweet. Well, sure hope we get a tree cause me and the foster babies sure could have alot of fun with that.

Well, Mama came back from that place called "Vegas" last week. We hardly missed her cause Trish came to check in on us and she fed us ALOT of can food. Mama tends to be more stingy. While Mama was gone, one of her feral kittens died. It was very sudden. Then the day after Mama got home, another one died. Mama just never gets used to losing them. She still has the friendliest one, and now she is a little doll. Mama let her out of the bedroom for the first time yesterday, and her and Tipsy played alot. She named her Lucy B. cause even though she is black, she has red tones on her head. Tipsy and Beretta are still with us cause they are coughing alot. Mama thinks Beulah gave them her cold. She is still here too. She is 4 1/2 mos. old and she looks like she is 10 wks. Mama is kinda worried about that. She wanted to take her to Petco this weekend, but she is not so sure. Mama also brought home two more from the kitty store Tues. They are 8 wks. old and are real cute. One is a wideband orange/wht. tabby Mama named Peanut Brittle and the other is a calico/tabby Mama named Candy Corn. She may take them to Petco this weekend. She also has a very sick girl in the basement from the barn where she is trapping them for spay/neuter and release. They named her Fluffy and Mama thinks she has pneumonia. She has already been spayed, but she got retrapped two more times. On the second time, Trish could see she was real sick. So Mama and Trish are giving her medicines, force feeding her, and trying to get her better. She is acting real nice, so Mama says she will probably be adopted instead of going back to the barn. Mama and Trish have also trapped a possum twice now too. Too bad they are not in the business of spaying possums. Bun Bun, Spooky, Mona and I are doing fine these days. Mama thinks Oreo had a little touch of that cold last week, but she is doing better. She also had to take medicines cause she was having diarrhea on the basement floor two weeks ago. Boy, if I did that I would be in big trouble. Mama is going to test her soon for FIV and Leukemia since she came home with that wound on her flank. Just in case it was a bite wound. Well, Mama will be home soon so I better get off the computer.
P.S. All the kittens Mama took to the store before she left got adopted except for Ringer. He won't last long either cause he's so cute.

Mama is going somewhere called "Las Vegas" on Friday and she is not taking us. She is going to be gone 5 days and Trish is comming in to make sure we're behaving. So Mama has to get as many of the foster kitties out of the house that she can. Alana in the basement is going to the kitty store, as is Korbel, Baileys, Ringer, and another one called Vivian that Mama got from the store on Sat. Nellie got adopted Sat., so she's safe from the store. Her new Mama lives a couple hours up north. Mama is either gonna leave Beulah here or Trish is gonna take her. She is still sneezing and doesn't have alot of energy all the time. She is leaving Tipsy and Beretta cause they aren't ready for Petco yet, and the three semi-ferals in the back bedroom. One of the girls actually purred for Mama this a.m., the boy is just frightened, and the other girl want's nothing to do with Mama unless can food is involved. But they should came around. Mama is working on catching and fixing the other ones on that property so they don't keep having more babies. Mama got good news this weekend too - Patches got adopted. She's been at the kitty store since June. She got adopted at the Petsmart in Illinois. The same lady also took one Trish fostered named Cherry Bomb. So Mama was just overjoyed, although she is going to miss Patches when she works at the kitty store. Oh, and Mona is gonna kill me but she was jumping up on the toliet to get to the bathroom sink to get some attention from Mama and SHE FELL IN THE TOLIET. I tried not to laugh too much, but it was awful hard. Mama laughed too. She told Mona she was not laughing at her, but with her. But Mona got the last laugh cause Mama got her butt wet from the wet seat when she went to use the human "litter box."

First, some Catster news. I was selected to be a feature diary last week. Not THE diary of the day, but now I have something to aspire to. Kittens are comming in and out of the house now. Little Skyy got adopted last weekend along with one of the ones from the back bedroom named Amaretto. Mama still has the other two. They are girls, and she named them Baileys and Korbel. Mama brought a little black and white boy home last Tues. from the cat store. He is about 7 wks. and she named him Ringer cause he has a white ring around his tail. Then some lady came Wed. with 2 little boys about 6 wks. old. Mama named them Tipsy and Beretta. Mama let all three of them out last night and we all took a nap on her while she watched TV. Mama still has Beulah too. Beulah is better, but is still sneezing. Mama says she is faking it cause she doesn't want to leave the house. Last night Mama went out and came home with 4 more. Three of them are wild, and they hiss and spit and growl at Mama. Mama says they are feral. The fourth one is named Nellie and she is the sister to the black ones that died in the back bedroom. She is getting big and she is mostly friendly. She is the cousin to Barcardi who finally got adopted from the store. The Mama in the basement, Alana, is getting spayed today. Mama is going to take her back for a week or two until there is a place for her. Oreo is feeling much better. Her boo-boos are almost gone, so Mama let her out of the back bedroom. She is still not allowed to go outside. I've been a pretty good boy lately. The only thing Mama has yelled at me for lately was picking in the garbage. Oh, and eating the babies food. Oh, and going in the babies litterbox. That's it I think. Oh, and picking on Mona. That's all. Gotta nap now.

It's been awhile since I've written, so I'll start with the good news. Bigfoot and Sidekick both finally got adopted, but not together. Bigfoot got taken to a Pet Store in Illinois, so she is an Illinoisian now. Godiva has a cold, so Mama brought her home from the store Tues. until she gets better. She also brought two more sick ones home from the store on Sun., but one of them didn't make it. Mama held him Wed. night while he went to the Rainbrow Bridge. We all sat by her to comfort her. The other one is named Beulah and she is real nice. Stoli and Midori got adopted at Petco, and Mama took Barcardi to the store. She let Barcardi run around the house the week before he left, and we played alot. Mama got upset a couple times cause I play rough sometimes. Their little cousin Jager didn't make it either. The babies in the basement all got adopted at Petco last weekend. They went together in pairs. Mama was so happy. Mama still has the Mama in the basement. She needs to be fixed and then she will go up for adoption. Mama also had three babies in the office. They were real tiny, and the two boys didn't make it. She still has the girl. She named her Skyy, and she is a little pain in the potootie. She is always trying to play with me but she is so tiny. I sometimes get rough with her on accident, then Mama yells at me. Mama also brought 3 home from the store on Tues. They are about 9-10wks, and they are in the back BR. Mama says they are a little wild and crazy, but she is trying to socialize them a little more. Oreo is also locked in the back BR. She was limping a couple days then Mama started picking through the fur on her back flank, and all this liquid pus started flying out. Mama ended up taking her to the emergency vet since it was after supper. Oreo has two big wounds that might be bite wounds. Mama thinks I did it, but I'm not talking. So now she has to be locked up and have medicine until her boo-boos heal. Oh, I've saved the biggest thing of all for last. Mama finally adopted Mona Lisa a couple weekends ago. She used to be my girlfriend and now she is my sister. How weird is that?? That's OK, cause I mostly attack her now for reasons only I know. I think that's all since I've written last. Never a dull day in Foster Kitty Land.

Tues. Mama took me to the vet for a shot. Bun Bun went along too to get checked out. I only weighed 11 lbs., and the vet said I was very muscular. Do you hear that ladies?? Handsome and Buff. Bun Bun did not have a good check-up. The vet says she either has a congenital GI tract problem or she has FIP, which means she's not going to make it. Mama hopes it's her GI tract. The vet talked about "putting her down" but of course Mama said NO. Mama loves the Bun Bun and has known she was gonna keep her for the last 3 mo. or so. I don't mind the Bun Bun. She's OK. The rest of the house is getting quiet. Little Braveheart got adopted on Sat., and Mama took Bigfoot, Sidekick and Godiva to the store on Tues. Little Fluffy died Tues. a.m. too. Mama is keeping a close eye on his brother now. She is going to take the older three "cousins" to Petco this weekend. She named them Barcardi, Stoli, and Midori. She named the little Fluffy that is left Jager. Mama keeps them locked up in a condo or loose in the back BR. When they are loose, they run out the door and Mama has to catch them. She has learned to close her BR door so they don't run under her bed and stay there. The Mama and babies in the basement are doing good. They are not super friendly, but they are not mean either. The Mama is still kinda skinny and drinks alot, so she may need to go tot the vet before she is fixed. But that will be a while yet. Well, that's about all to report for now. I am so glad Mama can't call me fat anymore.

Wow, we were almost out. Mama took Kahlua to the store, and Elwood's family came for him when he got better. Then we got Curly Q and Braveheart to keep for a couple weeks. Curly Q got adopted this weekend by another kitty volunteer, and Braveheart came back from Petco all three days Mama took him this weekend. He is so sweet and cute and all, but they had a slow weekend. Then Mama brought home from the kitty store Tues. 4 new kitties. Three of them are tiny. They were found in a trailer park and they all had fleas and bad eyes. Then Mama came home Fri. and one of them was dragging his legs behind him. Mama noticed he wasn't walking so good already on Tues. He went to the vet and they took an X-ray, and they thought he had an injury or birth defect in his spine. But then Mama woke up this a.m. and he was flat as a pancake in the cage. Mama took him to work cause she had to go, and he died this a.m. Mama is sad, but he probably couldn't have lived with his back legs not working. Mama also brough another kitty home Tues. from the store. She is a little bigger, black and white, and Mama named her Godiva. She was all growly and hissy for awhile, but she is better now. Then Mama got another Mama and 4 babies for the basement bedroom now that Jasmine is gone. The babies are about 5 wks. old or so. The mama is big, but she is real skinny. I guess she had her babies under a porch outside. But now she is warm and dry and Mama is feeding her good to fatten her up. After Mama got those babies Sun. a.m., she came home later in the day with 5 more. She has a friend whose neighbor has alot of kitties outside, and they are having babies left and right. So she took the babies they had already, and more are comming. Three of them are big enough to be adopted, and 2 are too small. Mama hasn't named them yet. We still have Bigfoot and Sidekick too. Sidekick's eye is finally getting better, so they may go to Petco or the store this weekend. So right now we have 21 in the house. 20 I guess if you don't count Oreo who is outside almost all the time.
Well, gotta go take my late morning nap.

So much has happened since I wrote last. Mama did take Malibu and Drambuie to Petco, and they were the first ones adopted. And she talked the people into taking them TOGETHER!! They really, really loved each other. Then the next weekend Mama took Asti, Spumanti, and Merlot. Merlot was the first to be adopted on Sat. and Asti and Spumanti went TOGETHER on Sun.!!! Mama was so happy. She is suppose to see them all in the next week or so cause they need their second shot and Mama said she would do it for the people at the kitty store. She took Kahlua to Petco too, but she brought her back. She is gonna try her again this weekend. Kahlua was scared and she doesn't like other kitties. She likes me well enough, but not the other ones. Now that Jasmine is kittenless, she is real, real lonely in the basement BR by herself. Mama let her out for awhile last night but she was a little skiddish. She sure wasn't the morning she got out of the bedroom thru the closet last week. Mama also has 3 of her shed babies back - Elwood, Bigfoot, and Sidekick, cause they got the kitty cold going around the store and they said they were better off going back with Mama until they were better. Mama has them almost better and she might let them out to play tonight. Elwood already has a home, and Sidekick had one but the lady wants another kitty now. She may take Thumbelina who is not sick and still at the store. Bun Bun got locked up for a couple days this week cause she had diarrhea real bad. Mama thinks it's her fault cause she has been feeding us lots of people food. But Bun Bun is still so small. She is only 2-1/2 lbs. and is 5 mo. old. Mama is going to take her to the vet next month. I heard rumors that I am going along for a shot. Mama is going to give me one too. Mama and Trish went across the state to an animal sanctuary on Mon. to drop off a Feline Leukemia kitty named Lucky Tigger. Lucky got turned in at the store, and was living in Trish's BR for the past 2 mo. He is only about 4 mo. old. Mama says he is a real nice boy, and her and Trish cried when they left him. But the place was a real nice place and they know he will be happier there. Well, that's about all. Mama will be home soon so gotta go.

Since I wrote last little Tia died, and little Chianti in the basement died in the middle of the night Wed. Tia went so fast that Mama doesn't know what happened. Chanti was sick for awhile, but was getting lots better. Mama made a vet appt. for him right after he turned again, but it was too late. Tia had an appt. too, but it was too late also.
Tomorrow Mama is going to take Malibu and Drambuie to Petco. They are so cute and friendly. Mama lets them out at night when she is home until she goes to bed. Mama also got another kitten on Sun. that she named Kahlua. Kahlua is a bigger kitten, about 3 mo. old, and was caught in someones backyard. She is real friendly, but shy at the same time. She has scratches all over her, and had an infected puncture wound on her throat. Mama cleaned her up and is fattening her up, and she said she will probably be ready in about a week. Mona hisses at her, but I like her.
We still have Bun Bun too. Mama calls us the Three Stooges cause we usually come running to greet Mama together, we all sit and beg for can food, and we all sit by Mama when she is eating and beg off her plate. Mona is pretty quiet about it, but me and Bun Bun will climb all over Mama and try to grab off her plate. Sometimes Mama locks herself in the bedroom to eat cause she can't take all of us on at once. Yes, there is strength in numbers. Used to be she just locked me up in my naughty box.
Well, gotta go nap now.

Now the house has 13. Mama took Mojito to the store a couple Tues. ago, and she took her 5 shed babies to the store this Tues. It sure is getting quiet around here. And on top of it, she dropped Mona off last night to be fixed today. Mona started howling and hanging out in the basement the last couple days and Mama wasn't sure if she was in heat or not. Bunny is still running around the house like an idiot. Mama doesn't even lock her up at night anymore. Mama would like to keep her, but the man probably won't let her. He already found out she wants to keep Mona, and he said if she keeps one more kitty that he's gonna get a DOG!! Yuck!!! Mama said one of Jasmine's babies in the basement has been sick for about a week, and now another one seems sick. And little Tia Maria upstairs isn't eating and threw up about 4 times yesterday. Mama is real worried about her.
Mama has been telling people lately that I am getting fat. She used to tease me about how skinny I was, and now she says I'm fat. I am just filling out finally. Besides, she gives me all the cans from the can food from the babies for me to lick out. One, two cans a day. And sometimes she leaves a little food in them. So it's her fault. Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Well, I'm going to sit here and wait for my girlfriend Mona to come home.

Well, alot has happened since I wrote last. Mama did get another kitten a week ago Thur., a Siamese named Tiger Lilly, which brought us to 23. Then Margarita died last Mon. and Captain Morgan died on Thur. Mama is starting to wonder if something is wrong with the house (germs) or one of us, but I guess it's a bad year for babies dying. It's so sad. :( :( Then Mama took Sammy and Tiger Lily to the store on Thurs. and both of them got adopted on Fri. Mama was suppose to take Mojito to the store this a.m. but she overslept. I usually wake her up at 7:30 every a.m. whether she has to work or not, but this a.m. I was busy. So Mo will go tomorrow. Mama doesn't let him out much cause he's still skiddish. But she picks him up and pets him and loves him several times a day. The 5 babies in the back bedroom are named now. They are Bigfoot, girl with extra toes, Thumbelina, girl with extra toes, Elwood, boy, Sidekick, girl, and Sahara, girl. They are getting friendlier and friendlier every day. Mama says we are only going to keep them another week and a half. She lets me and Bun Bun in with them while they are out of the cage, even though she is not suppose to cause they haven't been tested. Sometimes Mama just works on faith. Mama says my girlfriend Mona needs to get fixed next week. So far Mona has not gone into heat, but Mama is holding her breath. Mama would like to keep Mona, but she also would like Bun Bun. The man is probably not going to let her keep either. Jasmine came out of her room yesterday, and after we sniffed noses she hissed at me. Mama still won't let me in to play with her babies. They are 5 weeks old now and getting big. Well, that's about it. Unless Mama goes crazy again, I don't think we'll get any new ones until the 5 in the BBR are gone.

Mama says there are 22 of us kitties in the house now. She got two from Trish named Margarita and Mojito that she brought home to play with Sammy, and she got 4 little 5 wks olds, all last Fri. Margarita isn't doing that well though. She is real, real skinny and is not eating much and she is going to the vet tomorrow. The four babies are cute. Mama has them in a cage, and she lets them out sometimes to play in the bathroom. She named them Captain Morgan,a boy, Tia Maria, a girl, Drambuie, a boy, and Malibu, a girl. They cry alot and want to be held. Mama says they are so friendly that they act like they were bottle feeders. Then Tues, Mama left for awhile with the Man and she came home with 5 that are 6 wks old. They are 4 girls and a boy. They are kinda wild and scared. Mama says 2 of them have extra toes. She has them in a cage in the same room as Bun Bun. Bun Bun hisses at them. Patches isn't in the house no more. She got "fixed" and then went to the kitty store. She was kinda mean to me except when she was in heat, so I don't miss her much. Bun Bun is going to the vet tomorrow too. If the vet says she is OK, Mama is going to get her adopted too. I finally met Jasmine in the basement bedroom. I hissed at her and ran out the door. Oops, I mean I showed her who's boss and sauntered out of the room. Mama named her babies Asti, a boy, Spumanti, a boy, Chianti, a boy, and Merlot, a girl. Finally the boy total in the house is going in my direction. I heard Mama on the phone last night and she is suppose to get another one tonight. But then Sammy might get adopted tomorrow. I just can't keep track anymore. All I know is my girlfriend won't come out of her room anymore cause she is busy with the babies, so I need to go in and see her. I have more time to wrestle with Spooky Pants too.
Well gotta go before Mama gets home.

Well, where to begin. I guess with the new ones. Mama got a Mama cat and her four babies on Thurs. night. She put them down in the basement bedroom. Her name is Jasmine and her babies are about two weeks old now. Mama won't let me in there, but what I could see from the doorway is that she is real pretty. But not as pretty as my girlfriend Mona. Mama says she is real friendly too. She is naming her babies after wine names - Asti, Spumante, Chianti, and Merlot. She says Asti is a boy, but is not sure about the rest. Sure hope I get to play with them soon. Mama took Fat Baby and Gray Boy to the store on Thurs. and left them there all day. Mona was upset that they weren't comming back. But Mama brought them back at night after they were tested. She took Fat Baby on Friday a.m. and she never came back. Mama said she got adopted right away. But Mama did bring home a little black kitty she named Sambuca. She calls him Sam or Sammy. He is cute. Mama mostly has him in a cage, but lets him out to play a couple times a day. She said we will have him about 2 week. Then the girl that found gray boy 7 weeks ago came to get him on Sat. She thought I was his foster Mama. Imagine that!!! Couldn't she see my masculine kittyness. Now Mona is kittenless, although she will lick Sammy if he comes close to her. I just swat him. Trying to play, I swear. Patches has gone crazy too. Mama said she is in heat like Little Bit was. Well, Little Bit was not as noisy as Patches. Patches keeps comming by me like I can do something for her. No Patches, Mama took care of that a long time ago. Patches babies No Doze and Banshee got adopted last Sat. And speaking of Little Bit, she got adopted from the store last Mon., and Mama says she lives a block away from us!! Mama says it's a small world. She went over there and talked to the man, but he didn't offer to let her in the house to see her. I guess she lives with a dog and two other cats are moving in. I feel sorry for her. I don't always like my sisters, but at least we don't have a dog. Mama still has Bunny too, and she is doing good on her special food. She is gaining weight, but Mama is afraid she has something called FIP. I guess it's not a good thing to have. Mama may need to take her to the vet again to see what is wrong with her.
Well, gotta go take a nap with my girlfriend now.

Mona Lisa is the prettiest most niciest kitty in the world. Mama has been letting her and her babies out into the living room and kitchen for hours at a time when she is home, and I just love being with her. If Mama doesn't let them out fast enough when she gets up, I go to their door and stretch my paw up to the doorknob to tell Mama to hurry up!! Mama says the babies are going to find new homes in about a week and a half. Maybe we can keep Mona. Mama took two of Patches babies to the kitty store this morning. They went to Petco Sun. but Mama said it was slow there. Mama let them out to play too but Patches wouldn't let me get too close to play. Mama still has Bun Bun (Bunny). She took her to the vet yesterday, but Bun Bun is too small for a blood test. I guess she got a shot for diarrhea and she has to stay in a cage and eat special food. Oh well.
Mama came home a week ago Monday (May 22) and Mixey was real, real sick. She had thrown up all over the place and she didn't want anything to do with her babies. So Mama ran her to the vet, and the vet said she had distemper. Then the next day Mona wasn't feeling well either, so Mama took her to the
vet too. They think she had distemper too. So Mama was left with Mixey's babies to feed and poop and take care of until Trish took them on Thur. cause Mama had to go to work. Trish had lost all the babies by Tues. and Mixey died on Sat. Mama cried alot. She did get Mona back on Fri. Mona didn't look sick when she came back, but her front paw was shaved and she looks kinda funny. Mama has to give her and her fat baby medicine cause she wasn't feeling good either. Mama thought she might not make it either. Everyone seems fine now. Mona and fat baby both run out of the room when Mama opens the door. Mama makes them go back in cause the vet told her to keep them away from the rest of us. Too bad cause I still think Mona is soooo pretty. She really doesn't hiss at me anymore either, except when I went in her room the other day. Hopefully she'll stay for a long time instead of going to the store or Petco. Speaking of Petco, two of Patches babies are going there on Sun. Mama says Bunny is still too small. She is worried about Bunny cause she has diarrhea and is not growing very well. Mama says she is stunted. I don't get to see those babies much cause Patches is mean. I don't want her for a girlfriend at all. Oh well, gotta go pick in the garbage and take a nap.

Well, Mama has been crying again the past two days. Yesterday early in the morning Patches kitten Lettie died. She was a big kitty too. 8 1/2 weeks old. Then Val wasn't eating either and Mama found her dead this morning. Mama just cried. I hugged Mama and gave her kisses, and I think she felt a little better. Patches only has three kittens left out of eight. I'm sad too. I wanted to play with them before they went to Petco.
Little Bit went into something Mama called "heat" Monday night. All I know is she was acting funny and she cried. And her and Spooky actually got along for once. Then last night Mama took her away to get "fixed." I remember that. She told me to say goodbye cause Little Bit wasn't comming back. Mama was crying again when she put her in the naughty box (a.k.a. carrier). She thought I didn't notice. Mama gets to visit her at the kitty store though. I've been there several times and it's a nice place. I didn't like the shots Trish gave me though.

Well, Mama got that pregnant cat on Tuesday. Move over Mona, I have a new girlfriend. But she was so fat, I'm sure I probably couldn't even hug her. Mama only let me in the room a few times to see her, and she hissed at me. But I'm sure she'll come around. Then yesterday a.m. Mama wouldn't let me in there at all. After awhile, I heard little kitten noises. Mama was in there ALL DAY and she slept in there half the night. I guess Mixey (what a beautiful name) had six babies and it took her 14 hours. Now the mommy hormones are gonna kick in and she isn't going to let me near her at all. Me and the Gray Boy need to stick together cause we're the only boys in the house. Too many girl hormones. Sometimes Patches babies come running out of the bedroom and Mama lets me sniff them. They all hiss at me though. I laugh at them. They get can food three times a day and it's not fair. Mama usually lets me lick the can though. Well, Mama will be home soon, so gotta go.

Mom lost two more of Patches kittens on Friday. Dribbles the runt was sick for a week and crashed 3 times. Each time Mom brought him back with Karo syrup and water. But Friday a.m. he was crashed again and Mom couldn't help him. She was sad but she knew it was going to happen. Then Houdini, the little black one, was not right for a couple days and she was losing weight. She died in the afternoon. Mom cried and cried and cried. Houdini was her favorite cause she was the first one to climb out of her condo and she was so proud of her kitty self. She also liked to sit in Mom's lap. Then Mom took Little Bit's kittens to Petco on Sun. and they didn't come back. Mom said they all found good homes, so she was happy and sad at the same time. Now Little Bit has to go to the store and get an operation so she can't have more kittens. I am going to miss tormenting her. Mama gets so mad when I do that. My girlfriend Mona in the office bedroom and her two fat babies are doing good. She only had one fat baby, but Mom brough another one home for her last weekend. He is a cute little gray boy that someone found under their porch. Mona loved on him right away, so Mama was happy. They are the only ones so far Mama doesn't worry about. Momma is suppose to get another pregnant one tomorrow. Mama is still crazy. Well, gotta take a nap now.

Well, Mom was sad on Monday cause she lost one of Patches kittens. It was a tabby boy who was third biggest out of the eight, but he just stopped gaining weight. Mom found him practically flat as a pancake on the bottom of the cage with the other seven on top keeping him warm. Mom and Trish tried to keep him going, but he died about 11am. Mom cried. I was sad too, even though I didn't know him. Mom is worried about 3 more of Patches kittens who aren't gaining weight and/or won't eat and/or have diaherra. Patches was sick too with not eating and diaherra. They are all on yucky medicine. Glad I don't have to take it. Little Bit and her kittens got to go on a field trip downtown to the kitty store on Tuesday to get shots and deworming pills. I wanted to go too but now I'm glad I didn't. I have all my shots and pills for awhile. They have to go back next week to give blood for a leukemia test. Been there, done that. Then I guess Mom will be taking them to Petco to be adopted. Little Bit is going to get fixed and go to the store. I've been kinda mean to her lately, hissing at her and trapping her in corners. I am the man, er, kitty. Mom gets mad at me and chases me away from her. I have also been teasing Mona Lisa under the door. She rushes the door and growls at me. I think she will see my wonderful kitty charms and come around. She is pretty and I like to have her for a girlfriend. Well, gotta go, lunch time.

Mom brought home ANOTHER momma and her one little kitten on Tuesday. She has them locked in the computer room and she won't let me in there. The Momma growls and hisses when she walks in, but them calms down and wants pets when she sees it's my Momma. She has one little baby girl who is orange and real, real tiny. I guess they got rescued out of someones garage attic. The other upstairs kittens are getting big. In fact, two of them climbed out of their condo this am. Mom was kinda upset. I was upset too when Patches clawed me to death and chased me downstairs. But then Momma let the downstairs kittens out for a few minutes and I played with them. Two of them have been sick since Saturday, but Momma says they are eating now and playing so she thinks they are better. They are all getting some medicine that smells better than the medicine Momma usually gives the babies. They are maybe going to Petco next weekend to get adopted. Momma needs to see if they are all better first. I know Mommas gonna be sad, but then she can get some more babies too. :) :)

Wow have things calmed down in the house. Little Bit's kittens are 5 1/2 weeks old and Mommy lets me see them now. She named them Lil' devil, a boy, Bruiser, a boy, Weebles, a boy, and Dumplin', a girl. I am more interested in their food bowl than I am in them. They are real cute though. They are climbing on everything and getting into everything, and they get can food twice a day which isn't fair at all. I get can food this Saturday cause it's my birthday. Mom says I won't be a kitten anymore, but I sure still feel like one. The upstairs kittens are doing OK I guess. Patches won't let me in there. She chases me down the hall and hisses at me all the time. And it's my house not hers!!! Mom feeds them baby food twice a day so they grow better. Very messy!! Oh, Mom took Lolly to the cat store last week too. I miss her. So does Mom. But I guess some lady adopted her yesterday. Hopefully she'll keep her cause Lolly still is kinda scared and likes to hide. Well, gotta take a nap now.

After Mom came home from work Friday, some lady came over with a box of 4 itty-bitty kittens, and they took them in the basement to see if Little Bit would take care of them. Well Mom brought them back upstairs a while later, so I guess she wouldn't. I looked at them a couple of times, but Mom locked them up cause I hissed. Then Saturday night, Mom brought home a cat named Patches and her 4 kittens. Mom was sooo happy cause Patches is taking care of everybody. All eight kittens. I ran in there last night when Mom was comming out, and Patches chased me under the bed,we had a big screaming fight for about 5 seconds, and then I ran out. I guess I learned my lesson, but only sort of cause I still peek in there from under the door. Must be those Mommy hormones again. Mom is upset cause Little Bit took her kittens out of the box and under the bed. She also thinks she's not using the litter box either. So someone may be in trouble. Glad it's not me.

Wow this is neat having my picture on the internet. And I have friends and treats already. Mom is going to work on getting my sisters on the internet too. She has a real slow computer and she has to look through their baby pictures and such. Mom went to Petco yesterday for Kindred Kitties and took Lolly with her. She's had her 2 months trying to socialize her. Lolly is alot better but still is skiddish. I like her. We also have Little Bit in the basement. Little Bit had 4 kittens 2 weeks ago. I used to be able to go in the bedroom and visit her, but not since the kittens came. That's OK though, Little Bit doesn't like me much. Probably all those Mommy hormones. Maybe we'll be friends when the kittens get a little bigger because I just love kittens. Well, gotta go for now. Love, Quincy :) :) :) :)
