I finally got Cap off the computer so I can write in my diary. I suspect he's picking up allies over on Dogster because he's been really hogging the keyboard the past couple of days. This is not right!

I was so excited this evening because Mom and Dad were surfin' the Net (now this is something I need explaining..I saw "Surf's Up" with Aaron and Amy and that little Penguin didn't go near the internet..but anyway..) Dad has this 'thing' about Victorian houses, he keeps looking for one out in the country and says one day we're going to move and tonight he found a place with so many pictures it was amazing! Mom spotted this really cool authentic Vcitorian wallpaper on the site, it was actually from 1800 and something, and decided it would look great on my page. Well it does! I'm a modern girl, but I tell ya, this pattern is amazing and I couldn't believe it was actually designed over a hundred years ago in these colours! It's so spring like. *sigh*...SPRING!! Yes SPRING! It happened last Friday Mom said. It's still cold outside, but lots more sun so Dad opened the windows a little today so we could sniff and I can smell it! No new grass to sniff yet, but I can see the brown patches out there. The birdies are singing up a storm too and any day now we'll be seeing the "Biker Birds"...(those little white crowned sparrows, they look like they have bike helmets on their little heads) showing up. They stop over at our place for around a month on their way up north to nest.
The red-winged blackbirds will be here soon too, and unfortunately those noisey Grackles, but I guess we can't have it all, right? Mom says that Canoe used to howl at the Grackles, he really didn't like them at all, I didn't know Canoe, he went to the bridge before I was born, but he sounded real cool.

Well I guess I should go, I'm so excited about the new look of my page I'm just rambling and rambling..I'll meow at you all later..

Now it's my turn. I do not boss him around, I don't care how he whines, but washing his face and ears is NOT bossing. I chase him that's true, but he likes that, I wrestle him (beat him most times too) but I think he likes that. Ok, I bite his bum once in a while, but hey..he usually deserves that. He thinks that when he's got Mom alone for pets and brushing that I shouldn't come in and butt in, well he's got another thing coming, if the brushes are out, I want some of that good grooming too, he's not the only one around here with lucious fur ya know. He pushes too far sometimes, he and Blue get Mom almost to themselves, but Daddy is mine all mine, there is no reason to try to coral my Dad. He should know better, a few pets now and then is ok, but he really tries to hog.

Enough said. I love him, but he's got to learn respect for his elders.

Howdy!
We just passed my two year annipurrsary at my forever home and what can I say ...

Howdy!
We just passed my two year annipurrsary at my forever home and what can I say? It's been great! We did have a few months of tremendous sadness last fall when Maggie May got very ill with Lymphoma and that was hard on all of us. She had some chemo and that worked for awhile and was her old Maggie May self for two months, but we had some very worried times at the beginning and especially at the end. I really loved Maggie, she was so good to me. She let me snuggle with her which is something Blue isn't big on.
I tell ya, on cold Canadian winter nights every cat should have a big sister Maine Coon to snuggle with! I'll always miss her so much! I hope she won't forget me either and be waiting at the bridge when I cross one day.

Mom and Dad love us, but it was obvious they were still hurting and we know they'd always had three cats so we weren't surprised that after 6 months they adopted us a new little brother from Siamese Rescue where I came from. He bonded with Blue right away, I was a little jealous because Blue seemed so much happier to have a baby brother. I hissed a bit at D'Arcy, and had to teach him that he must never pull away when I go to give him a bath, that's my job you see. I wash Blue's face, and D'Arcy had to stay still and allow me to wash him too! D'Arcy discovered that he and I love all the same games and he couldn't resist a good game of tag and wrestle with the Panic Mouse. We race around the house like a herd of elaphants (whatever they are, that's what Mom calls us!) Blue sometimes just stands back and watches, I caught him giving me some dirty looks, but I think that's because D'Arcy loves all of Blue's favorite games too and Blue just doesn't like to share!

I have a feeling that now that Halloween has passed it won't be long before that tree with all those things that look like cat toys goes up in the living room. I can't wait to see what D'Arcy does. He's never had a home Christmas before and this should be fun. I have a feeling since he's such a little monkey Mom will be pulling her hair out! Lol!

I'll catch ya all later...Btw, Mom redid my page..you've got to see it..cool!

Well it's been a long time since my first entry and I thought I should bring everyone up to date. I've been at my forever home for almost 10 months now and truely it seems like I've always been here. I just seemed to fit right in perfectly with my new family, beans and furkind!

Blue and I have bonded totally and he's my bestest buddy ever! We have 4 floors and three flights of stairs to chase eachother up and down and our favorite game is hide and seek! We both love the shower curtain game the most! Mom just got a new one and it's not as much fun because it's one of those clear types and we can spot eachother easier in it, but still have fun.

In May Mom and Dad bought us a huge cat tree and put it in front of the dining room window and it's just the most! Blue and I have it a little tattered up near the top, but Mom says that's ok, it shows that we love it so much. Maggie May is getting older but when the wand toys come out she manages to get up on the bottom levels to play too. Mom calls us her tripple decker puttums because Blue is always up on the top perch, me in the middle and Maggie May on the bottom.

Maggie May can be a bit of a grump sometimes but I really look up to her. I don't know that she understands that, but she never complains when I snuggle up against her for a nap on Mom's bed and she'll give me a bath, she just won't let me give her a bath back, if I try to wash her face she slaps me. She does the same to Blue, so Mom says I shouldn't take it personally, that maybe it's Maggie's way of telling us that she's the Queen of the house and in charge. With Blue, well we wash eachother's faces and ears everytime we pass eachother, and that can be a hundred times a day..LOL!!

All my friends on SICC have been great too, Aunt Susan sent me a Panic Mouse as a home coming present because I was really attached to the one at the Virginia Siamese Rescue Center, Mom now uses rechargable batteries in it because I kept burning the other kind out. Aunt Susan also sent me, Blue and Maggie May purr pads she made us. I have another Aunt Sue in L.A. who sent me the coolest furry mice too. Life is good! I love my Mom, but I'm so in Love with Dad that I cry when he leaves for work and run to the window to watch his car drive off. I wish he stayed home all day..*sigh*

Happy New Year everyone!

I've been here almost 4 months now and I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be! Cuddles come when I ask for them, even when I don't. Maggie May is amazing, she lets me snuggle with her and to tell you the truth, way up here in the Canadian far north, everyone needs a Maine Coon to snuggle with! Blue keeps me busy, he's really good at hide and seek which is my very favorite game, he hides around corners and lets me find him and jump on top of him. We wrestle and run around the house several times a day and Mom calls us her elephants! I love washing, I wash myself all the time and Blue doesn't seem to mind that I wash his face and ears everytime I see him, he's got very soft fur and his whole face is that 'blue' colour, maybe if I keep washing him he'll look more like me with just my nose area coloured dark!
Has anyone seen my Play N' Squeak Mousie? I just got it yesterday and it's gone missing, I'm so upset!

I've come a long way. I was in a shelter, then went to SR VA center and was there for awhile. I thought that was were I was going to stay and made a friend of a red headed big fluffy boy named Archie. Suddenly a lady named Sonja picked me up and I went on a long drive to Baltimore. I was in isolation for a week and I liked it there, I really liked Sonja and her husband Barry, they gave me lots of pets, played with me but I wanted to see the rest of the house and the resident cats, but I couldn't, the door was in the way. Sonja told me all about a furever home I was going to and my new sister Maggie May and brother Blue. She said I'd like it there. So after two days of driving with a lot of different people and cars I met my new Mom and Dad in Vermont and they drove me to my new Home in Montreal.

I was really happy to be out of that carrier! I purred and loved up Mom and Dad and checked out my room, but I really hated being alone, I wanted Mom and Dad with me all the time. So I cried a lot. After a few days Mom let me out after this BIG blue Meezer came pushing into the room to check me out.
Mom played with lots of toys with both of us and we sort of became friends while we played, but then he started jumping at me and I just don't like to be jumped at! I find the best defence is an offensive, I learned that at the center, when a big cat starts at me, I gotta hiss, yell and put up a fight. Even if they only put their paw on me, know what I mean? A girl's just got to show these boys who's boss!! Am I right? Or am I right??!! I hope he gets the total picture soon, because Mom is starting to get a little tiffed at me for screaming at her boy all the time. I think Mom likes him best!
