Well Leonidas came to us through the cat shelter that I am affiliated with. He was running around with his sister Megan. I immediately fell in love with this 4 month old kitten. I really didn't want another cat but here was a purebred mainecoon fresh out of the NY shelter to ours. He was a very lively and funny kitten. Marianne said that if he wasn't adopted by the person that was interested in him that I should take him. Well about 2 weeks went by and he didn't get adopted. We took him on a temporary basis to see how things would go. He quickly became friends with Sebastian. They share a special bond where they are like brothers. Its very funny to see them interact with each other. Leonidas has found his forever home. He is very happy and has made an excellent addition to our family.
