This will be Hazel-Mazel's last entry before I transfer ownership of her page to Hazel Lucy's mom, Julie.
Mama G, The universe has a way of making things work out just the way they are supposed to - even when we haven't quite figured it out! Thank you for rescuing Miss Mazel and loving her so much. We wish her all the best in her new home with Julie - we know she will be one very loved cat there just as she was with you! Concatulations on being the Diary of the Day! Hugs & Love, Chai & the SF Gals (Mama J too!) I am the very grateful mom who received a Good Friday miracle. Catsy is very special to me, and I followed the progress of Butters, Gilmore, Lilith and Hazel since their rescue two years ago. I agree with Chai and her mom, this was in the stars. My heart is full. Julie Hazel Lucy's mom and now Mazel's mom Congrats on being the Diary of the Day! That is a great way to start off with your new home and loving mom. DIARY OF THE DAY CONGRATS!!! Your generosity and selflessness with the cats you have rescued, particularly Catsy and Mazel whose needs you recognized and met so unconditionally, are humbling - as is your husband's! We hope his hand is recovering well - Mama knows how painful and serious those sort of wounds are. (I am blushing.) Julie - thank you for giving precious Miss Mazel the home she needs. If anyone has the patience and gentleness to help this little girl feel safe, it is you. Grace, thank you to you and your husband for rescuing these little ones and safeguarding them for so long. You have done a fantastic thing here. The first kitty I fostered and had to let go did tear my heart out because I didn't know where she would end up. We adopted her out through a no kill shelter and I felt so helpless in where she would be in the world. She was adopted by a wonderful woman who has worked with the shelter for years so it eased the pain. Knowing that Mazel is in such a good home and that you made this happen must be a wonderful feeling. I'm so glad you feel no true grief over losing her because you know she isn't really gone, she's where she was suppose to be the whole time. Thank you for all you did. Mommy felt bad when I had to leave my first home of five years never realizing that I'd be in a shelter awaiting for my Mommy Liz to adopt me. Thank God she came into my life!
